Plot: Taehyung receives a note asking 'Do you like Jungkook?' and a yes and no box. He was going to check yes, but then remembered something...

Author's POV

'Do you like Jungkook?'

That was what Taehyung received in a note that he found in his locker. He smiled and took out a pen, about to check yes. But then he frowned, took the note and stuffed it into his jean pocket. He swung his backpack over his shoulder and walked out the school gates, heading home.

After he reached home, he rushed into his room and shut his door, sitting on the floor before taking out the note again. He stared at it for a good 5 minutes, not moving, not talking, just...staring.

He finally sighed and leaned back on his bed, closing his eyes as he remembered that day....

{Flashback}

"Hey K-"

"Wait you like him?" Taehyung quickly hid behind the wall, curious to what Jungkook and his group of friends were talking about.

"Wahh Jungkook I fricking knew it, it was about time you admitted that you liked him,"

'Jungkook likes someone? Who? Is it me? Wait-what if it's someone else?'  Taehyung questioned himself, but nonetheless, continued listening

"H-how do you know Jiminie hyung?" Koo's eyes widened and stared at his short hyung

"Because I'm amazing," Jimin sassed as usual, flipping his nonexistent long hair

"But really? I can't believe you like Jake! Wahh, how long have you found out-"

"Shh!" The younger covered Yugyeom's mouth, "Don't be so loud! What if Tae hears??"

The male that was behind the wall felt a pang in his heart. He bit his lip and turned on his heels, walking away from the scene, and heading home.

{Flashback ends}

"I can't make it hard on him right? I-I know he is the type that can't say 'no' easily..." Taehyung groaned and held his head in his hands.

"Tae bear?" his mom called out, before gently knocking on the door

"Y-yea?" Tae's voice slightly cracked while answering, but nothing his mom can't notice

"What's wrong baby? You never cry, did you get in a fight? Killed someone? Did someone attack you? *Gasp* Did you get rejected?!" his mother rushed beside him and bombarded a whole bunch of possibilities only to make her son laugh

"I..It's just. I like Koo-"

"Yes! I knew it!"

"..."

"Sorry baby, haha I got a little too excited there, continue please,"

"But he doesn't like me back...he...he likes Jake," Taehyung sighed, feeling a bit relieved that he can talk to someone like this

"Really? Are you sure?" even Tae's mom furrowed her brows, thinking it's impossible since she's seen how Taehyung and Jungkook are like together.

"Yes mom, I'm sure,"

"Hm, what's this?"

"Ah, I found his in my locker today, I don't know what I should do with it, I want to just ignore it, but then this will just forever stay inside me and make me feel like I didn't finish something. I want to sign yes but then that'll put too much pressure on Koo when he has to reject me, but then I don't want to sign no because that'll be a lie-"
