Author's POV

We've all secretly liked someone for a very long time, right? And if luck was on your side, then you might end up with them, if luck isn't on your side, then what can you do?

Jungkook and Taehyung knew each other ever since sixth grade, they were in English together. And ever since then they've stayed friends. The story of how they met was pretty funny, Jungkook and Bogum were really good friends, then one-day Bogum told Jungkook that there is this really cute boy in his PE class.

Soon, due to third-wheeling Bogum and Taehyung for a while, he got to know Taehyung. Bogum kind of played Tae and left, they didn't work out, and weirdly, Bogum also cut ties with Jungkook. But that didn't affect Koo and Tae, they stayed friends and in fact, Bogum cutting ties with Jungkook allowed him to meet his best friend, Yeonjun.

Jungkook realized soon that he really liked Tae, there was something about him that attracts him to the younger. So in seventh grade, he tried to confess, but it didn't seem to work because he never received a response. During seventh grade, the two didn't have a class together so they kind of drew apart, and didn't talk, but Jungkook met a new friend, Jimin.

Then in eighth grade, Jungkook finally got the guts to ask Taehyung if he wanted to hang out together, and surprisingly he agreed. Yeonjun was jumping up and down like crazy, he knew about Jungkook's crush on the younger for quite a while.

As Jungkook met up with Taehyung and walked to a nearby park, Jimin coincidentally also was there, he stayed for the whole time, and to say that Jungkook was a little mad and jealous would be an understatement.

The last month of eighth grade..Jungkook received a text from Tae, he was surprised the younger texted him first, but still decided to see what he said.

A week later at their promotion ceremony, Jungkook saw Jimin and Taehyung together and it immediately clicked, Tae asked Jimin out. Jungkook was sad of course, but he saw this day coming.

All the way up to freshman year of high school, Jimin and Tae were together, Jungkook was still friends with both sides too, he enjoyed that he was still friends with Taehyung, in fact, they got really close this year. But it still hurt him when he saw the younger one holding and kissing someone else.
