💍How You Felt... pt.1🏠

Plot: Taehyung and Jungkook, they were engaged for 1 year now and Taehyung didn't treat Jungkook the best. You see, Taehyung has anger issues and didn't show much affection to anyone, for the Taekook couple, it started off with just Tae being cold to Koo, then Taehyung's anger and stress got worse and he started yelling at his boyfriend and making Jungkook clean, do chores, and sometimes-rarely though-when Taehyung's anger really got out of hand, he would slightly abuse Jungkook. For example, blaming Jungkook for things which he never did, and shoving the younger. Taehyung never really physically hurt Jungkook which was okay I guess. Jungkook though, he took it all in, he wanted nothing but to keep his hyungie happy, he kept the pain in himself. Jungkook always told himself that it's fine, as long as Taehyung wasn't physical then the yelling and harsh words meant nothing... He loved the elder, he really did and he knows that Taehyung did as well, but Taehyung just didn't find a way to show that love yet. So Jungkook always longed for the day when Taehyung finally found the way to express himself, but, something unexpected happened.

One day Taehyung came home drunk and slapped Jungkook, that's when Koo had enough, he didn't want to be treated like this anymore so once Tae was sobered up, Jungkook yelled at his fiance. Taehyung-now- understood how his baby felt when he treated him so badly, he felt horrible, so so horrible and he didn't know how to make the younger forgive him. So he did something that was best for the two of them...give each other space...

Jungkook's POV {I will start the story off with the part where Jungkook had enough, just a disclaimer so that you guys won't be confused :)}

"Jungkook where the fuck is my brea-"

"Kim. Taehyung. Stop it, just-stop everything, please!"

"Did you just fucking talk ba-"

"I said enough! For the past 2 years, you've been cold, you've said harsh things, you've basically made me your fucking maid! I have held the pain in, I have tolerated the pain inside myself for 3 freaking years Taehyung!" I hollered out, tears starting to fill my eyes

"Every single morning, I wake up at 7:00 to make you breakfast and your lunch for your work, and all you have to do it just wake up and give me a kiss, thank me and then go to work. But what the fuck do you do? You just have that stupid cold face on and sip on your damn coffee without even giving me a glance!" I huffed before continuing eyeing my fiance as I see his eyes filled with guilt almost... "Every night you come back either at midnight or drunk, who is there to take care of you? Me, it's always me, and do I get anything in return? Of course not. I've always been there for you Taehyung, always, but are you there for me? Nope, never, bet you never knew that I cried every night huh?!"

"B-baby I-"

"Oh don't you dare baby me Kim Taehyung. I-I've had ENOUGH! All this silent treatment, all these harsh words, didn't impact me much but they still hurt. Last night though? You crossed the line." I cried, tears pouring from my eyes now, "Bet you don't remember what you did either eh? Well let me just tell you, you slapped me, you fucking slapped your fiance because of what? You were drunk?! That doesn't give you any damn excuse in slapping me!"

I saw the terror and the panic filled in his eyes, I can see it. But I've blocked it all out, all I focused on was confessing

"Everything you've done to me... h-have you ever thought of me? Have you thought about how I felt?"

"Koo I-" Taehyung walked towards me, trying to embrace me, but I dodged it before he came any closer

"D-don't touch me! You s-scare me!" I cried curling into a ball, "Do you deserve me?" I whispered enough for him to hear, "Do you even love me?" I sobbed, asking the question I've kept in all these years, I was breaking every single day, yet today I felt relieved that I've got everything out of me...

Taehyung's POV

'He's scared of me...h-he's scared of me? I- What the fuck have I done...'

'Do I love you? O-of course I do I-'

"Taehyung... I've really had enough, I don't think I can face you again, either you change yourself and prove to me that you love me...or you take back this ring and I will leave this house, we will never see each other again-"

"N-NO! I-I'll change! I-I promise, I'll change, please keep the ring ba-Jungkook I-I'll change for you and I'll show you how much I love you just-just please, don't leave..." My eyes were now pouring liquid, I hated myself for not knowing how he felt...I am a fucking idiot!

"Fine, but I'm not taking the ring still, you're keeping it, and unless you prove to me that you actually love me and has changed, I won't put it back on my finger." he stated, wiping his tears, I nodded sadly, taking back the ring, caressing it softly, "Very well then, I'll pack and lea-"

"N-no...you stay." I said gently stopping him by touching his hand, but I quickly let go remembering him saying that he's scared, "I'll go...I'll go a-and give you space, I-I know you need it, and I'll come back once I have changed everything and can prove that I love you but please... j-just don't leave, wait for me...please!" I bit my lip as the tears fell, I can't imagine my life without Jungkook in it, losing him will be the death of me, I-I have to prove to him that!

"Okay, I'll wait for you, but will you leave me inste-"

"Never! Losing you will be t-terrible, I'll come back! Just please give me some time..."

"Okay then, I'll wait for you, please don't make me regret giving you a second chance Kim Taehyung."

"You won't I promise!" I said slightly smiling before wiping my tears, "T-Thank you so much Jungkook, I-I will come back!" I responded before going to the closet and packing my clothes into a suitcase.

Author's POV

As Taehyung was in the closet, he felt Jungkook's engagement ring in his pocket, he gently took it out and lightly kissed it, as if it was a promise seal, that he will change himself, and he will come back to this house as a new man and a new fiance

All Taehyung needed was time, and luckily, Jungkook agreed on it. Taeyung really never thought about how Jungkook felt for some reason, and now looking back he was amazed at how Jungkook just...just bared with it. He was terribly sorry for how he treated the younger and he was desperately trying to find a way to heal their relationship/bond and himself...

And for the younger, he was terrified of speaking up, he thought that Taehyung would hit him, but surprisingly the elder cried and actually listened to him.
He didn't want to leave Taehyung or let him go because he truly and dearly loved him so so much. But he had to...for his safety and for Tae to realize what he's doing...

Koo just hoped that giving Taehyung a second chance will actually change him (Tae) and their relationship with each other...
