2 years later
"I can't believe it's finally the day," Chan said, fixing his suit and tie while Jisung nodded next to him, the quokka like boy checking his watch every so often, a small detail that Chan had immediately took note of. "Relax, Minho wouldn't miss this either." And, the second he said that, sure enough, the doors to the room opened dramatically, both sides being pushed open (although Minho only needed one side to enter).
Minho smiled and waved at Jisung, calmly strolling towards him and hanging his arm around the younger boy who grumbled under his breath about how he was late despite their agreed upon meeting time.
"I'm still relatively early," Minho justified, smiling brightly at Jisung and immediately melting any semblance of annoyance that Jisung could have had towards him. "Right babe?"
"I-I'm not your babe," Jisung muttered, clearing his throat and staring at his shoes to avoid Minho and Chan's knowing gaze. After Hyunjin and Jeongin had gotten together, Minho had began making more attempts to first befriend the younger boy, his advances almost always being shut down by either Jisung himself or his cramped schedule that restricted him from even looking at his social media platforms.
And so, Minho got his number from Hyunjin (but frankly, Jisung was too shocked to even ask about it and two years have passed but he still hasn't questioned it at all). After months and months of endlessly pestering the producer and part-time rapper, Jisung finally gave in and allowed him to take him on one date. From then on, Minho had never stopped pursuing Jisung, the younger of the pair clearly feeling the same about him but still choosing to keep him at a distance until he felt that the time was right.
But, for this event, he felt that he had to come with a date and what made it seem as though they were truly destined was the fact that both of their friends were the ones directly involved. So, he had asked Minho to be his unofficial date, disguising it as simply two friends going together (when everyone in the room knew that it was more than that).
"Not my babe yet you mean."
"I love being a third wheel," Chan uttered, moving slightly away from them as they began to argue over what sort of tie was the best tie since, whenever Jisung got flustered, he would start talking about literally anything that crosses his mind and it just so happened that ties were the chosen topic of that day.
"Hyung!" Chan turned around to see a blonde boy with a clipboard in hand and a pen tucked behind his ear, his eyebrows slightly furrowed as he grabbed the pen and started furiously writing a few things down. "Have you seen the cake topper?"
Chan shook his head, a sigh escaping from Felix's lips as he stared intently at the paper stuck on his clipboard. "Should I just put the ornaments on the-"
"Felix, this isn't a Christmas party."
"But, ornaments and cake toppers are basically the same so-"
"Felix, no."
Felix pouted, tapping his pen on his chin before pointing at Chan, his eyes sparkling as though he had made the world's greatest breakthrough. "I can draw stickmen and stick them to ice cream sticks!"
"Felix-" But, before he could even finish his sentence, Felix dashed off, raising his pen in the air. As Felix ran past, Changbin waved at Chan, ignoring the fact that his boyfriend was screaming for ice cream sticks. "Are you not in the least bit concerned?"
