"Dohyon! Yo-you can't abandon everything like this! I-I won't let you!" Jeongin screamed, grabbing Hyunjins' arm and yanking on it, the older stumbling backwards into Jeongins' arms. "I-I need you."
And for a second, Hyunjin forgot that they were acting. His mind went blank, forgetting his next line as Jeongin held him tighter and started adlibbing lines to get Hyunjin back on track. "I-I can't live without you," Jeongin muttered, the cameras circling them going closer to his face to capture the tears streaming down.
Hyunjin was completely at a loss for words, Younghyun quickly stopping the scene as people ran up to the two boys to fix their makeup. A staffer handed Hyunjin his script to which he nodded thankfully for as he reread his lines over and over again.
"Hyung? Are you alright?" Jeongin asked as the stylists fixed his hair.
"Why're you asking?" Hyunjin replied, scanning through the lines on his paper again and again, trying to forget that he completely messed up beforehand.
Jeongin thanked the stylists for fixing his hair and approached Hyunjin. "You don't normally forget lines. Did something happen?" Jeongin asked, concern gracing his features. Without any warning, Jeongin placed his hand on Hyunjins' forehead, the older of the two flinching at the sudden contact but not bothering to move away from his touch.
Hyunjin watched as Jeongin placed his other hand on his own forehead. He watched his face scrunch up in concern and he watched how Jeongins' hand dropped from his forehead and back to his sides.
"We're about the same temperature I think," Jeongin muttered, tilting his head slightly as he tried his best to think about what was making Hyunjin feel ill. Then, out of the blue, he gasped audibly and started pointing to himself. "It's because of me isn't it? I'm so sorry!" He bowed at a ninety degree angle causing the other staff members and Younghyun himself to chuckle to themselves.
"Wha-How do you even end up with such a conclusion? Stop bowing!" Hyunjin said, his face no longer needing any sort of blush seeing as how his cheeks had naturally turned a bright shade of red. Jeongin looked at him, his eyes teary and for a second, Hyunjin had the compulsion to wipe the tears away. "Don't look at me like that."
"Like what?" Jeongin asked, clearly oblivious to the fact that to Hyunjin, his simple gaze was enough to set off butterflies in the pit of his stomach.
But, luckily for him, Younghyun called for the scene to begin again and he didn't have to respond to Jeongins' question because if he did, he was certain that he might've given him an answer that he couldn't simply delete from his mind.

Five hours into shooting, the rain started pouring outside causing Jeongin to visibly pale under the heavy amount of makeup that was placed on his face.
The three of them were shooting one of their many combined scenes together and in that scene, Chaewon and Hyunjin's characters were supposed to argue while Jeongin's character stayed as the conflicted middle ground to their arguments.
But, as the thunder crashed, Jeongin let out a soft yelp, his fists clenching up into balls by his side, his eyes immediately screwing shut as he tried to fix his breathing.
"Inin? Are you okay?" Chaewon asked, putting an arm around Jeongin who tried his best to nod. "Are you sure?" Jeongin nodded again, forcing his eyes open as he smiled faintly at her.
Hyunjin watched as Jeongin grabbed at his own shirt, his fists clenched so tightly that his knuckles had turned pale. Jeongin took deep breaths, trying to compose himself because this had happened before - it was inevitable that during the duration of his shooting, some days would be rainy.
But usually, he had earplugs to block out the noise.
As he searched his pockets for it, he realised that he left them at home and, as another round of thunder assaulted his eardrums, he instinctively squatted on the floor, hugging his knees to himself.
"Jeongin? Are you okay?" Younghyun asked through the megaphone as Chaewon knelt down beside him and wrapped her arms around him, trying in vain to calm him down.
The rest of the staffers looked at the scene before them and Jeongin, feeling a pang of guilt attacking him, forced himself to stand up despite the fact that his legs were shaking. He smiled at the staff members and at Chaewon who was helping him up.
When he opened his mouth to speak, he found himself being interrupted as Hyunjin stepped in front of him, blocking him from their sight. "Mind if we take a short break? My head hurts," he asked casually, looking at the watch on his wrist. "And besides, we've been shooting for about five hours now so I think that a break wouldn't hurt right director sir?" Hyunjin forced a smile on his face as Younghyun nodded and called for an intermission.
The very second that he did, Jeongin rushed to his dressing room, his hands still tightly clenched.

Jeongin heard a soft knock on his door but found himself paralysed as the thunder roared outside.
"Yang? I'm coming in yeah?" Jeongin didn't expect to hear Hyunjins' voice on the other side of the door and when he entered, he truly did not expect to see him carrying a plastic bag filled with snacks. "I know you'd much rather see Chaewon but-"
He was cut off by Jeongin shaking his head and grabbing his arm. "That's not true," he whispered, his grip on him tightening as the rain outside worsened.
Hyunjin put down the bag of snacks and quickly sat down next to Jeongin on the sofa, the younger of the two immediately closing the gap between them, interlocking his fingers with Hyunjins'.
"So-sorry hyung. I-I didn't mean to-" Jeongin tried to separate their hands but found that Hyunjin wasn't letting go. "Hyung?"
Hyunjin used his other hand to put Jeongins' head on his shoulder, gently rubbing his forehead as he did so. "Look, don't get the wrong message from this okay? I just want shooting to continue and-"
Jeongin sighed, closing his eyes as he did so. "I won't hyung, don't worry." Jeongin looked down at their interlaced fingers and smiled to himself. "But this is nice," he murmured loud enough for Hyunjin to hear.
"What is?" Hyunjin asked, rubbing circles on Jeongins' palm.
"You being here with me. I-I like it a lot hyung," Jeongin said, closing his eyes as he nuzzled against Hyunjin. "I think you're nice hyung."
"I think you're nice Jinnie!"
The faint memory played in Hyunjins' head as he looked at the boy who had fallen asleep on his shoulder, completely and utterly unaware of the fact that he had told him the exact same things a long time ago.
