"Oh god Inin why did you send those to Hyunjin?" Chaewon asked, quickly deleting each text Jeongin had sent to the older male.
Jeongin shrugged and sat on the floor, lack of sleep already affecting him badly and Chaewon knew that whenever the boy stayed awake past a certain time, he became awfully honest, not even needing to be under the influence of alcohol to make brash decisions, one such example being him texting their co-star at 3am about his true feelings.
Chaewon noticed how the grey ticks had turned blue but nevertheless, she still deleted his texts, hoping that maybe Hyunjin would have been too slow to properly read all of it.
She looked at Jeongin who was yawning and rubbing his eyes as his head leaned against the side of his bed and sighed. "Inin, your bed is right there. Just go and sleep on your bed and not on the floor-"
"Why does Hyunjin hyung hate me?" Jeongin asked, looking up at Chaewon with tears forming in his eyes. "Wo-Wonie...why does he hate me?"
Jeongin had never been disliked much less hated before in his life. And, even if people did dislike him, they never showed it so he wasn't used to how blantantly clear Hyunjins' hatred for him was and he had absolutely no idea how to deal with it.
He was trying so hard to be kind and patient with him, thinking that eventually, his cold facade would melt away and that he would show some sort of warmth towards him but more than a week has passed and Jeongin was getting tired.
He was tired and awfully, awfully distraught.
Chaewon sat down next to him and let him put his head on her shoulder, rubbing soothing circles on his back as he cried it out. She wanted to answer him but she had no idea why Hyunjin acted the way he did either so instead, she softly sang a lullaby for Jeongin who eventually, fell asleep on her shoulder, their hands intertwined tightly.

"Jeongin's unwell today so he couldn't come," Chaewon explained to Younghyun who was checking on their attendance.
"What happened to him?" he asked.
"He's having a fever and he's just weak today. He says he'll be back in business tomorrow." Younghyun nodded and quickly got a staff member to deliver food to Jeongins' apartment before calling for the cast to get into their positions.
The scene that they were shooting was an argument between Hyunjin and Chaewons' character, both of them fighting over what they think was right for Jeongins' character.
As Hyunjin was getting into his position, he looked around, trying to find the younger boy. Chaewon, who was being fussed over by makeup artists, noticed his wandering eyes. "If you're looking for Inin, he's sick."
"He's sick?" His eyes widened as he put all his attention on Chaewon, causing her to take a step back at the sudden emotion evident in his normally monotonous voice, his emotions normally only showing when he was acting.
Chaewon tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear as she raised an eyebrow at Hyunjin. "Are you concerned?" Chaewon asked, crossing her arms and tilting her head slightly.
But before he could answer, Younghyun started his countdown for the scene and immediately, they both got into character, her question lingering in the back of Hyunjins' mind.
