A few scenes in and they were already facing difficulty.

Hyunjin was now dressed in a more colourful outfit, his black aesthetic fully ruined by the fact that the character he was playing was the polar opposite from him while Chaewon had been put in pastel outfits, matching that of Jeongins' character.

Although the three of them had no issues recording and filming their individual monologues, when they were put together, it was utter chaos, the tension between the pair and Hyunjin so thick that not even a chainsaw could cut through it.

"Hyunjin, could you move closer to Jeongin? You two don't look like friends, much less best friends," Younghyun instructed, the script in his hand as he pointed at where Hyunjin should be, the boy reluctantly shifting over to sit right next to Jeongin.

Younghyun frowned at the scene before him, not being able to feel any sort of chemistry between the trio. "Chaewon? Could you take a break for a while? I'll try to film their pair scene first," Younghyun said, Chaewon slowly lifting her head up from Jeongins' shoulder and nodding, giving Jeongins' hand a quick squeeze as if to wish him luck before leaving the set, leaving behind the two boys who, although may have been close physically, their minds were in an entirely different dimension, neither of them regarding each others' presence.

Younghyun sighed and put down the script before making his way over to where the pair sat. "You two look like you just had a fight," Younghyun muttered as he took hold of Hyunjins' arm and placed it around Jeongin, the two younger boys flinching and tensing up at the sudden contact that Younghyun was forcing them to have with one another. "Can you two ease up a little? Pretend you truly are best friends yea? I mean, that's what acting is anyways right?" Younghyun left the pair and returned to his seat, picking up the script and calling for the cameras to start rolling again.

Once Jeongin heard the cue, he exhaled and counted to three in his head before letting himself relax within Hyunjins' arms, the older of the two still tense as Jeongin leaned against him. "Dohyon? Why do stars shine so brightly on such dark nights?" Jeongin was reciting his line, becoming fully immersed in his character which reminded Hyunjin of why Jeongin was so famous in the first place.

He made people believe in whatever he acted out.

Ever since he was young, he had an almost natural knack in playing make believe, people always forgetting for a split second that he was just acting out a role. And now that he had grown older, people saw the range that he had, going from being just a little naive boy to being someone profound in a matter of seconds.

Hyunjin sighed, letting himself become one with his character as well, moving his arm from Jeongins' shoulder to hold his hand instead, rubbing gentle circles on his palm. "Because, the world isn't all beautiful. Sometimes, like the stars, we need that darkness to be able to shine." Hyunjin flashed Jeongin a small smile that, although Jeongin knew was all part of the act, it still made his heart skip a beat.

"Si-since when were you so profound?" Jeongin replied, resting his head on his shoulder, Hyunjin still rubbing circles on his palm.

Hyunjin shrugged and leaned his head against Jeongins'. "I was always like this," he muttered, closing his eyes as the set lighting grew dimmer and eventually, the scene had ended, Younghyun screaming 'cut!' as he reviewed the scene again on the screen.

The second he ended the scene, Hyunjin immediately moved away from Jeongin, the younger of the two almost falling sideways because of the sudden movement. Hyunjin stood up, followed by Jeongin who quickly rushed over before the other boy could disappear, spreading his arms out and stopping him. "That was some really good acting hyung! I really felt that we were best friends and I-"
