"And cut!" Younghyun screamed into the megaphone, the tears running down Chaewons' face immediately stopping as makeup artists swarmed around her to make sure that her makeup was perfect for her next scene. Jeongin sighed, having had run around the set so many times that he feared he would run out of stamina before their shooting day had even reached the halfway point, some crew members rushing over to hand him water and a towel to wipe the sweat off his face.

Younghyun moved over to the screens as he replayed the scene that they had shot. Tilting his head slightly, he replayed it once more and a smile finally appeared on his face, a clear sign that the scene had met his expectations. Although the pair were friends with Younghyun, when he starts directing, that didn't matter at all with Younghyun being a director known to have impossibly high standards.

But those impossibly high standards were always met by the cast which made Jeongin feel a sense of relief because he had never, in all his years of acting, had bad blood with anyone be it a fellow actor, crew member or the director themselves.

Younghyun started clapping, taking hold of his megaphone again. "Next we'll be recording Hauens' breakdown so Jeongin, please go for your break!" Jeongin nodded, running over to Chaewon whose hair was being messed up for her next scene, and giving her a big thumbs up along with a bright smile which Chaewon returned instantly.

The second Younghyun started filming, Jeongin watched how swiftly Chaewon switched from herself to her character and for a second, he was completely awestruck by his best friend, a part of him wanting to cheer for her but before he could do anything, he caught glimpse of a tall boy dressed in his characters' bright and colourful outfit by the snack table, choosing between an apple and an orange.

Jeongin quietly made his way to the boy, poking his arm gently and giving him a small wave, to which he simply responded to by nodding. "Hyung, are you having a break now?" Jeongin asked, staring up at the boy, his eyes wide and full of anticipation.

"Yes," he said simply, picking up an apple and walking away from Jeongin who frowned slightly at his clear avoidance towards him.

"Hyung! Do you want to eat together?" Jeongin asked, running to catch up with Hyunjin who didn't even bother to slow down his pace. "I think it'll be a nice experience. Don't you think so too?"

"Maybe for you." Hyunjin continued walking, leaving behind a confused and slightly disappointed Jeongin who tried his best to shrug it off.

"Next time maybe!" Jeongin said, watching him get further and further away. He sighed and ran a hand through his hair, walking back to his dressing room to find snacks on his table once again.

A small smile tugged at the corners of his lips as he looked at what the snacks were that day - strawberry flavoured biscuits and a cream cheese bread.

Jeongin sat down on his chair and turned the snacks around in his hands, still wondering who could have possibly left them there for him.

Then, a thought struck him.

Quickly taking out his phone, he sent a text while taking small bites of bread.
