The blanket wrapped around each other covering Cordelias bare chest laying on her side. His arm wrapped around her waist and she held onto it. His face nestled into the large mess of her hair.

"Did you mean it when you said you loved me?" She asked. Harry pulled her hair away from her face partially sitting up to look at her.

"Yes..did you?" He answered. Cordelia turned on her back to face him she had her hands crossed over her chest keeping the blanket over her.

Cordelia nodded her head.

"I hate this.."

"What?" Harry fretted.

Cordelia sat up in the bed and Harry propped himself up on his elbow resting his head on his hand. Cordelia stared ahead at the blank wall.

"What do you hate?" Harry asked her.

"I hate that I can't love you! I hate that I can't have you-" she almost shouted. Harry slowly sat up as well and took her one hand that was scarred from the shattered glass. The same arm that hand her mark.

"Your parents are alive aren't they?" He traced his finger along her sensitive skin. She turned and looked him in the eye. He didn't have his glasses on.

"Yes but- I'm scared." Cordelia sighed. "I'm scared that I'm not going to recognize them- that I'm not going to see the people who raised me.."

Harry kissed her hand and interlocked their fingers together.

"I think you should visit them, maybe they can get you out of this mess."

Cordelia stared into his deep green eyes not knowing what to say.

"Even Hermione said she'd go with you.."

"Draco would pop a blood vessel if he saw me with her- hell, he'd go into cardiac arrest if he saw me right now even!"

"He's been off school grounds for nearly a week, his mother just got from Azkaban so I suspect he won't be back for a while."

"Harry-"

"I'll even go with you, Cordelia please." He begged her.  "Even if they can't remember anything or can't help you- at least you'll be able to see them after months."

Her eyes stared into his before resting her head on his shoulder.

"We can go tomorrow." She whispered.

Diary,
I've finally mustarded up the courage to see my mum and dad. Draco is still at the manor with Narcissa and I'm not to sure when he'll be back but I'm sure it'll be soon.

I'm leaving after lunch and McGongall has agreed to apparate us. I couldn't sleep all last night, not at all. How did I not know that they're alive? How did no one even tell me?

Cordelia.

She sat at lunch as everyone circulated around her chatting and talking. She didn't touch her food at all. It's gone cold and her glass of water was growing warm.

The chatter seemed to grow quiet when she just simply lost connection with reality.

-flash back-

Cordelia stared out the window out into the garden as the rain fell. It was a rainy day in July, Cordelia just had turned 6 years old. The sun poked through the making a small rainbow appear in the sky.
