Chapter 94

It was the next morning and I sat eating my breakfast in a joyous mood. Luna seemed to have noticed and was giving me looks the whole time, questioning herself if her suspicions could be true

Eventually Ginny and Hermione came over sitting down opposite us. They two now have expecting looks waiting for news

"Whatever you guys are expecting hasn't happened" I tell them. Their moods seemed to deflate slightly. However I then finished my breakfast so I stood up "I'll meet you guys later but I just need to get something from my dorm"

They nod as I then started walking away. It wasn't a lie, I had forgotten something but I also wanted to avoid their questioning

"OPHELIA GO OUT WITH ME" A voice shouted. I abruptly turned around searching the hall as everyone also looked for the unexpected voice. I was by the doors, so I had a good looking view

"Who was that?" I hopelessly question. No one, like expected, replied "I'm really sorry but I have to reject your offer"

"And why's that?" The mysterious voice asked again

"Because I would never cheat on my boyfriend" I say with a slight smirk as I walk away

Everyone stares at the entrance of the hall in shock. Hermione, Ginny and Luna quickly stand up and go back to the Gryffindor table, they look down at Harry. However Harry ignores them. He continues to eat his bowl of cereal not looking up at them

"Harry" Luna said getting ignored

"Harry" Hermione tried

They took a deep breath then Ginny suddenly slams her hands on the table

"HARRY JAMES POTTER" She yells which made him look up slightly scared "Did you finally ask our Ophelia?"

"Why?"

"Because she just admitted to having a boyfriend, stupid" Ginny retorts

"Fine I did"

The Gryffindor table erupts in cheers making Harry hide his face in embarrassment

"HE DID IT" The twins cheered "HARRY FINALLY MANNED UP ENOUGH TO ASK HER OUT"

Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff also did more quieter cheers. Everyone looked to see Slytherins reactions. However Slytherin turned to look at Draco Malfoy

"What?" He questioned in annoyance "Shes my cousin, she can do what she wants" He says but pauses "But if you hurt her Potter I will personally come and kill you"

"Don't worry" Ginny replied "If he hurts her, then he'll be dead before you even get to him"

Albus Dumbledore sat amused at the teachers table with Minerva by his side. The two watched the scene fall out. He then turned to his fellow professor

"I'm telling Sirius"

It was several days later now and I get again walked into the great hall. However, I pause in the entrance when I hear a familiar voice at the end of its conversation

"SO ONE LAST TIME HARRY, IF YOU HURT MY NIECE I'LL PERSONALLY COME AND KILL YOU"

I opened my eyes in horror at my Uncles threat. When the howler obliterates I slowly make my way over to them. Harry and Ron sat their stunned whilst some students chuckled slightly around them. I suddenly yelp when I hear Sirius' voice again

"OPHELIA BLACK" His voice echos around the silent hall. I turn around to have seen Ginny with a smug face as she had opened my howler "YOU DECIDE TO GET A BOYFRIEND AND NOT TELL ME. HOW DARE YOU. I HAVE THE RIGHT TO KNOW THE GOSSIP AND I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT FROM SOMEONE ELSE"

I glance around the room searching for any suspicious faces who could've messaged my uncle

"IF THAT BOY BREAKS YOUR HEART YOU HAVE TO TELL ME SO I CAN THEN GO TO AZKABAN FOR WHAT I WAS WRONGLY SENTENCED FOR BEFORE. NOW IF YOU DON'T TELL ME THE GOSSIP I WILL PERSONALLY START WRITING WITH YOUR FRIENDS WHO WILL HAPPILY TELL ME THE DETAILS. Love you lots, Sirius"

My mouth was slightly parted as I stared at the destroyed howler

"Who told him?" I managed to spit out. We all look to Dumbledore who starts laughing

"I did"
