"Why do you want my cloak?"I stood in the hallway with Harry on Saturday morning. It was now that I attempted to ask for his cloak
"Look I want to sneak up to the Astronomy tower later tonight" I lied "I want to go there alone to clear my head and I don't want someone to catch me in the hallways"
I watched as the conflict ran through his head whilst he watches me. He then eventually nods
"Fine" He said before wrapping me in a surprising hug. His arms snaked around my waist "I'm sorry that I kept trying to warn you about Malfoy even when you stated that you can look after yourself"
"I'm sorry I shouted at you guys and then ignored you for a few days" I respond, taking a deep breath as I lean against his chest "It's just that I don't want more things to worry about right now"
"I understand that now" He sighs, kissing my head "I'm sorry about your dad"
"He's in a better place now" I quietly say "At least he gets to see my mum again"
"Well at least your safe" Harry says, rubbing his hands up and down my arms
"Harry I watched him die" I suddenly say causing stray tears to roll down my cheeks. Harry looks at me with his eyebrows furrowed together in confusion "I dreamt about him being killed the night before we got the news"
His arms tightened around me as tears still came down
"I thought it was just a stupid dream because I was so worried about him"
"Look you can't help what you see or not, it just happens" He says, leaning his forehead against mine then softly pressing his lips against my mine "Life just moves on and we use the pain to continue"
We stay like that until I speak up again
"I guess we're yet again so similar. We're both now parentless" I darkly chuckle earning a disapproving look "What? I literally have my uncle left and you have your aunt"
"But we're so different because at least you got to know your parents" He responds before taking a deep breath and pulling away "Now let's go get the cloak for you"

It was after dinner now and I split from Luna, saying I just wanted some time alone - which she thankfully obliged to
When I was alone in the shadows of the castle. I quickly pulled out the cloak and threw it over my body. Silently, I then made my way up to the seventh floor
As I headed up, I found it slightly hard to breath clean air, mainly just inhaling the smell of what I assume to be Harry's cologne. Eventually I get up to the desired wall and start pacing
I need the room Draco wants to meet in. I need the room Draco wants to meet in. I need the room Draco wants to meet in
The door thankfully appeared and I quickly rushed inside, shutting the large heavy doors behind me. When inside I pull of the cloak to find Draco waiting. My eyes roam around the room to see it's just a plain but dark room with a huge fireplace in the centre. In front were dark emerald sofas where Draco sat in one
"Hey" I said, properly announcing my presence. His head turns to the side before gesturing me to sit down. I carefully take a seat on the other sofa besides the one he's on "Soo..."
He just watches me and I raise an eyebrow "I'm going to try and enter your mind but you have to block me"
"Don't tell anyone what you see" I request of him "Somethings are supposed to stay a secret"
He nods then suddenly mutters under his breath what I assume to be the incantation, because seconds later memories go flushing through my head as I attempt to block them out. As the memories start to go deeper my urge for him to get out my head becomes stronger. I absorb the energy that's helping push him out, the images in my head becoming more blurry
"Well done so far" Draco smirks "You almost pushed me out"
"Yeah well that was pretty good for my first time" I respond
"Even if you just make everything blurry in your mind, you need to quicken it up" He explains "Because in those few seconds, someone could get the information they already want to know"
I nod and motion for him to again. He fixes his position before heading to my mind again. My first instinct is to at least blur what he sees which I solely then focus on. I start to form a unclear glass wall between him and the memories. Eventually he exits, giving up on trying to see through the blur
"Was that your first though?" He asks "To blur the memories"
"Yeah" I shrug "Even if I can't block someone out, the least I can do is blur them"
"Wise"
"Well I'm a Ravenclaw for a reason" I jokingly scoff, making the blonde boy roll his eyes. Suddenly he unexpectedly tries to break into my mind again
However I surprisingly quickly blur the memories and then attempt to block him out - which wasn't as easy as I hoped. He leaves the thoughts at has a grin on his face when I regain my sight
"Well your doing it" He proudly admits, but his smile falters "But I want you to actually be able to block someone before I tell you what's wrong"
"All I want to know" I sigh "Is it dangerous?"
He looks away, keeping his eyes on the burning fire. I watch as his grey eyes glaze over, reflecting the flames. Quickly, I stand up, going over to comfort him. He falls into my arms as I brush away the loose strands of his hair. Both of us fixed onto the dancing red flames
"I want you to be careful Draco" I whisper to him "I can't lose anymore family"
