The Park and The Knight Bus
Orion was an amazing dog. The past days we've had him has been the best. His persona is playful but kind. Everyday he follows me around keeping an eye on what I do. He also plays with his toys most of the time; We had brought him several more. At night he's such an angel. He lies at the end of my bed sleeping throughout. When I wake up in the middle of the night upset he comes over to comfort me
I have noticed that for the past few days I've become more happier. Lately I haven't cried myself to sleep. Moreover during the day I'm moving around more
Right now I had just finished packing my bag. For the weekend me and Orion were staying at Sirius' house. It was still school so no one else was free. But anyways Sirius was always fun to be around
My outfit was a matching two piece with the bottoms being a skirt. The shoes I wore were brown sandals which wrap around my feet
We planned to meet in the park because I was taking a walk with Orion before. Then we would take the knight bus to the road his house is on
"Come on Orion" I said calling the puppy over
He happily trotted over knowing that we were going outside due to the harness in my hand. I securely buckled him in before attaching the lead. From my bed I grabbed the bag slinging it over my shoulder. Shutting the door behind me, I left my room. My father said goodbye down in the bakery making sure I had everything despite only going for the weekend. I finally bid him goodbye leaving the bakery
The walk to the park was peaceful. Orion stayed by my side the entire way
Once we arrived he got really excited. Several times he attempted to run after a poor bird. When we got to a more open field, which was empty, I grabbed the ball out of my bag. I unhooked his lead. The puppy got in a ready stance watching where I was gonna throw the ball whistle bending low preparing to sprint after it. Teasingly, I waved the ball before throwing it across the field. Instantly he chased after it. My laughter filled the air as I watched him run too fast so he zoomed straight past the ball
Random Boy POV
"Do you guys hear that?" I questioned my friends
"Someones got a very lovely laugh" Sam comments
We walked through the trees slightly looking at the source of laughter. Through the branches we saw a girl standing in the field
"Is she alone?" He questioned
"No look there's a puppy with her" I said pointing to a sprinting dog that ran towards her
We watched as she praised the dog before taking the ball and chucking it far
"She's got a good throw" Neal chuckles "Especially being in a skirt"
We all laugh while watching her mess around with the dog. Thankfully she hadn't noticed us
"I've never seen her before" They ponder aloud
"Well she doesn't go our school that's for sure" Sam says
"Not gonna lie I think I saw her like last summer but she was with someone" I tell them "I haven't seen her since"
"Don't make this a sappy love story"
"It's not, anyways she probably has a boyfriend but you do have to admit, she's gorgeous"
"I agree"
"Should we walk past?" Neal suggests
"And do what?" I frown
"Just pretend we're strolling through the park" He says "Look there's a path behind her which is a part of the trail"
"Let's do it" Kyle says after being quiet all this time
We all began to follow the trail non suspiciously. The lot of us muttered to ourselves pretending to be in a conversation when I'm fact we were actually talking about her
As we went by she gave us this smile that was so beautiful before focusing back on her dog. I looked at her body from behind. She was perfectly proportioned for her small figure. Her skin was slightly tanned, probably from the summer sun
"God she's hot" We say whispering to each other. Eventually we reach the other end of the field. There's a bench which we go and sit on pretending we need a rest
"OPHELIA" We hear someone shout. Two men start walking to the girl. She pauses what she's doing turning around. Her hair flips as she turns to see who called her
"Who are they?" I question
"The one with brown hair looks similar to her so perhaps family the other may be a friend of his?" Sam suggested
"Maybe"
"Sirius...Remus" She squeals running up to them. We watch as she throws herself at them
"Bloody hell how can she run in a skirt and sandals?" Kyle questions
"Who knows"
Ophelia POV
Sirius and Remus had just arrived to where I was in the park, I ran up to them giving them a huge hug before letting go to call Orion back
I whistled to gain his attention. Alarmingly his head shot up with his ears pricked. I waved him over pointing to the two men beside me. He grabbed his ball before sprinting towards us. I reach down into the bag as he greets them. Once he calms down I attach the lead back onto him
The four of us strolled out the park and into the streets on london. We searched down for an empty street where we could then call the bus. Eventually we found one. It was a small road with very old houses. Sirius grabbed his wand which called the transport. Out of no where the purple bus came pulling up onto the street
"Well if it isn't Miss Ophelia Rayden or should I say Black" The conductor said
"Hello Stan" I greet the man
"And if it isn't Sirius Black" He says
Suddenly his mood switches back to its regular self
"We'll come on then we haven't got all day"
We all climbed onto the bus and sat down on the seats. I placed Orion on my lap as Stan took our destination
"Grimmauld Place" He announced to Earnie whom began the journey
The drive there was a fast one. We weaved in between the late morning traffic. Thankfully Orion didn't go crazy. He only whimpered slightly. When we got off I was the only one who seemed not to be affected by Earnie's crazy driving
"See you soon Stan"
"Bye Ophelia"
They then disappeared going back into the streets of London
"God that was horrible" Remus complained
I just laughed at them "It wasn't that bad"
"Yes it was"
