Robin's ears were ringing as she slammed into Lychee's chest, pushing the splotchy green HiveWing back through the door with all the force she could muster. A sharp pain shot through her broken wrist as she did so, feeling it move into an uncomfortable position that continuously sent shocks of pin throughout her arm. Though she couldn't focus on that now.

She could hardly really focus on anything aside from the sudden blast of heat and the roar of the explosion that rang throughout her ears.

Robin felt herself fall to the floor by Lychee, using her wings to try and shield them from the blast, but it seemed as though Lychee was beating her to it. The HiveWing crouched over her, using his body to protect her from the explosion that shook the ground with its force.

Why didn't I realize those were Dragon Flame Cacti seeds?! She wanted to torch her own tail for her stupidity.

Dragon flame Cacti were dangerous plants. Small and round with their seeds on the outside. As soon as they make contact with flames or hot enough temperatures, they explode in a burst of flames, their seeds shooting off their body and making small explosions of their own if the main plant exploded because of fire. If it was just hot temperatures, than the seeds would be planted where ever they land, reproducing and spreading their population.

As soon as the explosion started, it was over within a matter of seconds. The smell of smoke filled Robin's nostrils, making her want to cough. The crackling sound if hungry flames now took the place of the loud explosion.

When she opened her eyes, she was met with the sight of the flame silk lanterns lighting the dim tree-stuff hallway, across the floor were bits of debris from her room. She could see her blanket which was now burnt and torn, fire still clinging onto its soft surface as it slowly devoured it greedily.

Laying within the hallway was the body of a familiar HiveWing, one with golden honey coloured scales with black stripes so thin they were hardly noticeable.

It was Sunflower and she didn't look to be moving. Her body was limp, uncomfortably still. Especially against the flickering flames that slowly were eating away at the tree-stuff around them. She could feel a cold shiver of horror spread across her body as her gaze couldn't seem to pry itself away from Sunflower's body.

Though, she soon pulled out of her trance by a warm talon firmly grasping her shoulder, pulling the hybrid dragonet from her shocked trance in order to look over to see Lychee. One of his wings were drooping down limply, not in its regular stiff position like all HiveWing's wings are.

"-bin"

Robin's ears were ringing loudly, she could hardly hear anything and it made her head hurt, pounding madly.

"-obin!"

The hybrid dragonet shook her head as she staggered up onto her talons, her scales felt to hot for her comfort and the smell of burning smoke made her nostrils flare.

She turned back to look at Lychee, the HiveWing had a painful look on his face as he moved his talon off of Robin's shoulder and over to his own, letting out a hiss that Robin could barely hear over the ringing of her own ears that seemed to drown nearly all other sounds out.

Lychee seemed to be talking, she didn't know if it was to her or if he was just talking to herself, but she could see he was talking by the way his jaws moved. She tried to focus on what Lychee was saying, trying to push away the ringing within her ears and the pounding within her skull.

"-eed to get o-.............-nflower."

Need to get out? Sunflower? Robin turned her attention towards her room, or, more so what was left of it.
