When Robin woke up, her head was pounding and she let out a groan of pain, her eyes screwing tightly shut. She let out a huff after a few seconds to let the pounding subside, opening her golden yellow eyes once more to see the unknown area around her.
Nothing was familiar.
She looked to be in a small woven hut with a dome like structure. Made from all sorts of vines and leaf's of various shades of green. There was an entrance across from where she was laid down on what looked to be a soft bundle of plants woven to make a nest.
She could see a few wooden carved bowls near the entrance, most of them looked to be empty while the bowl closest to her seemed to be filled with water that seemed to sparkle in the small streams of sunlight that filtered through the woven dome.
Robin stretched her neck out slightly to look into the bowl, seeing that the water looked to be almost crystal clear. She thought for a moment, but quickly pushed her thoughts aside as that brought her pounding headache back. She lowered her head enough for her snout to touch the waters surface, taking in large gulps, slightly surprised with how cold and soothing the water was.
Robin's eyes fluttered shut as she continued to drink the cool water greedily, until the bowl was mostly empty. She let out a huff as her eyes opened once more, licking the excess water off of her snout before she started to look around once more from where she laid.
Where am I? She thought to herself as she looked around, scraping at her mind to try and remember anything. The hive, sneaking out at night, the beach, Thorn....THORN! Her wings flared open slightly as she shot up onto her talons, nearly toppling over as she wobbled to gain her balance. The dome felt a lot smaller now that she was standing, sort of.
Did he lie to me? Did he just lure me out to take me here? Who was the other dragon? Her mind raced painfully as thoughts swirling within her head, seemingly echoing and bouncing within her mind loudly. Though, they came to a halt as her ears picked up something.
Robin's gaze snapped over towards the entrance of the dome as she heard something walk closer. Soon, she saw something green push its way in. It was a dragon with pale green scales with splashes of lush greens that looked likes leaf's with sunlight filtering through. Their eyes were a golden yellow, though, their right eye seemed to be more orange in colouration.
She could feel her wings flare out slightly at her sides, much like that of an owls or hawks who were trying to make themselves bigger to be intimidating for protection from predators or trying to protect their food from unwanted visitors. Her head lowered slightly as her ears pinned to the back of her skull, watching the new dragon as they now were within the dome with Robin.
The hybrid dragonet could tell they were a LeafWing because of their wings that looked just like the leaf's that hang from the branches of trees, green veins running throughout them.
"Good to see you're awake, and you drank your water on your own!" The dragon smiled, though Robin didn't return the gesture as she just watched them with her wide golden yellow eyes.
Realization seemed to dawn upon the LeafWing as they made an 'oh' sound before they spoke.
"You must be scared, aren't you?" They crouched down to be more at Robin's height, a smile on their face. "How old are you?"
Robin was silent for a few moment as her eyes narrowed, inspecting the strange LeafWing from snout to tail. She doesn't seem so bad, she reminds me of Thorn in a way, she thought to herself as she felt divided on weather to respond or keep silent. Soon, she did make up her mind as her jaws parted slightly as she started to speak.
