"Did you really think you could get away from me, fire dragon?" Queen Hornet's voice hissed inside of her ear, making Robin shudder and pause her movements, though that didn't last long since the sound of the HiveWing Queen's voice gave the hybrid dragonet more determination to fight back.
"You belong to ME, YOU CAN ESCAPE ME!"
"I belong to NOBODY!"
Robin's roar shook herself right down to her core as she bit down harshly on the HiveWing's arm, shaking her head violently from side to side to help dig her teeth into the scales and into the soft flesh protected beneath them.
Her ears rang as Queen Hornet let out a roar of pain, her grip loosening just enough for her to shift herself around and kick the HiveWing in the gut, pushing the two of them apart. When she did this, Robin realized something about this HiveWing.
They weren't being controlled by Queen Hornet. They were Queen Hornet.
She couldn't forget that face that would look at her like she was nothing more than a one of a kind art piece or the rarest jewel in a treasure room. She was nothing more than an object to the HiveWing Queen and it made her blood boil in rage at the thought as she soared through the air around the Queen as she gathered her bearings and hissed up at the hybrid dragonet.
Queen Hornet had her golden crown wrapped around her horns, jewelry handing off of her from around her neck and jewels that were embedded above her eyes that sparkled in the sunlight. Rings made of gold with jewels of all sorts of colours were wrapped around her talons, sparkling like stars in the night sky. The Queen was also wearing golden armour that ran down along her tail, a golden spike running along side her stinger, making it look more dangerous than it already was with its large size.
As Robin flew high within the sky, watching as the Queen followed her with her gaze, her wings buzzing loudly as she kept herself in their air. All around her she could hear the roars of dragons fighting, but she could also hear Queen Sap and General Castor's voices ringing throughout her head.
"Queen Hornet will stop at nothing to destroy us," the LeafWing Queen slat with a flick of her tail from across the wooden room they were all huddled within. She'd called for Robin and her friends to have a private conversation with them, along with General Castor. "She'll stop at nothing to get all of you"
"Now that she knows about Robin," General Castor sent Robin a side glance from where he sat beside the Queen. "she'll try even harder to get inside the jungle to get rid of us, since we're hiding you from her."
"If she's able to get one of you, we're sure she won't hesitate to get the rest."
"But she doesn't know about the rest of us," Python huffed with a dismissive flick of his barbed tail before pausing and giving them all a hesitant look. "Right?"
The small room was silent for a few moments, Robin felt her heart thudding painfully in her chest. Would Queen Hornet find out about Python and Snowflake? Trotzen and Cacti? She couldn't ever find out about them, Robin didn't want them to be treated as nothing more than some exotic pet in a glorified birds cage.
And what would happen to Lychee and Sunflower? What about Caterpillar? Cavalier and his sister Cinnabar too? What about all of the SilkWing's they've rescued from the YellowJacket Hive? Giving them a new, better, more free life. Away from the Hives, the Hives that Robin saw to be home ever since she washed up on Pantala two years ago.
"We're not sure," Queen Sap grumbled, the large LeafWing's eats twitched, the golden hoop earrings that hung from her ears sparkling as small rays of early dawn light hit them. "though, we've got a suspicion that the might."
