Robin stood alone in a large field, a familiar field she'd seen countless times before. The tall waving grass that lightly brushed against her scales as they waved softly within the wind that was no more that a cool breeze.
The cool breeze blew softly against Robin's scales, cooling them down from the waves of heat that washed down over her from the sun that shown brightly from above, almost blindingly bright as it casted everything within its warm yellow glow in rays of sunlight.
The dragonet looked around, her golden yellow eyes wide as she scanned the are around her. She was just....alone.
No one was around her, at least, no one she could see.
"Hello?" She called out, her ears perked for any response, though, none came.
"Is anyone out there?!" She tried again, but, just like before, no response came.
She couldn't figure out why she was alone again, and why she was here once more. The area was just like the one from her dream she had a year ago, where she saw butterflies, wasps and a young sprout swarmed with the black and yellow stripes insects.
The plains looked just like the ones that covered most of Pantala. The plains she had seen time and time again when ever she'd get the chance to look out a window within the Bloodworm Hive.
She continued to search around, and soon, found the same place where she was last time she had a dream like this. The sprout looked to be wilting slightly, it's leaf's hanging low as though it were sad. The wasps around it were no longer buzzing with life, they were now all on the dusty ground, their legs curled in the death position that most insects took once they've passed away.
"What happened here?" She thought aloud as she looked around. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary other than the wasps and the sprout.
"Where are the butterflies?" She couldn't see either of the three sparkling butterflies anywhere, they just seemed to be gone.
It started to confuse her. What was happening? Why was she having this dream again? And why now after over a year?
As Robin contend to look around, her ears picked up something, something other than the sounds of the breeze and the softly waving tall dry grass.
Her head shot up as she perked her ears up to try and figure out where it was coming from. It sounded like someone was calling for her.
"Is any one out there?!" She called out once more as she strained her ears to listen for the voice. Its reply was faint, as though it were really far away.
"R........wh.........ou....!"
She could hardly make out what they were saying, but she guessed their voice was coming from her right, so, she took off running in that direction. The long dry grass seemingly whipping at her scales as she dashed, trying to follow the voice that continued to call out for her, their voice growing louder and more familiar.
The owner of the voice was female from what Robin could tell. The voice was rough and deep like a bellow of a crocodile, but still high enough to be easy to distinguish as a female.
"Robin?!" They roared, searching for her far off in the distance.
Robin could see them now and hear their voice more clearly, and she recognized it.
The figure off in the distance was hard to make out because of the sunlight in her eyes, but she could make out their features. Strong build, broad shoulders and thick horns, a barbed tail, curly frill and large wings.
