Cypress (A RWBY fan fic)

Chapter 7: What Happened, Happened

Cypress looked at her friend and paused "I'm going to finish what he started..." Stormy paused "what I'm sorry but I don't follow." Cypress turned facing the wilderness "he always wanted to become a hero; to be the one to save the day.. To help people and im going to do that not matter what it takes." Stormy laughed "we do that here though." Cypress "not they way he saw it.. I mean if you have ever read one of those old comic books where there's a superhero and vilian? That kind." Stormy looked at her friend and nodded "I see why you two are related" she gave a weak smile missing Jason. Cypress walked away going off to talk to Ozpin. A few minutes later Cypress goes into Ozpin's office. "Professor Ozpin?" she asked and he turned his chair around "yes?" he answered and looked at the young huntress. "I don't belong here." she simply said straight to the point. He looked at her not truly understanding what she meant. "RWBY needs to be just RWBY and no me I can't just join them like that. My parents have been training me sense I was little and I don't want to take these not necessarily needed classes. But now with my brother gone I think it would be best if I just went on my own team no one I can't hold the responsibility right now." she said trying to word it correctly. He nodded understanding after what happened to her brother "I think I understand but I think you need to have a team, so with that said you shall stay on RWBY but you may have  a break. I think it's time to talk to your parents Cypress they could probably really use the company right now.." Ozpin finished saying handing her a letter from her parents. Cypress froze hearing the word parents and signed ripping the letter off the counter and storming out. Cypress went into the emerald forest and climbed a tree. She looked at the letter sealed with a blue stamp, opening it she began to read: "Dear our precious daughter, we are so proud you made it into Beacon. Sorry we haven't been here for you much but you will see the difficulties of being a huntress soon enough. Please tell your brother we said hi and that we love him and miss him. We sent you a package which should be there for you in a few days, make sure your brother gets his half. Sorry this letter is so short but please be expecting the package. We love you so much ~Love, Mother & Father. After reading the note she went back to Beacon for a few minutes for today was mail day. Luckily enough a package came for her from her mother and father. Cypress then opened the present revealing two blue cypress steampunk like pins to attach to each of her samurai swords that would be the gears to her guns when the swords transformed into her guns and a steampunk cypress pin to attach to her belt. But there was also something else, it was for her brother and it was a purple crossbow string. Then it hit her, it was for his sword which he made it so instead of a gun like thing it was a cross bow she took her brothers' sword getting an idea. she took both sets of weapons apart and put them together making two mega swords. At this point Ruby walked in. "wow C that's nice." she said cheerfully. Then Yang, Weiss, and Blake walked in. Weiss "I still think we should get a bigger room and make our beds um.. more safe." she said looking around the room. "Where's the fun in that?" Yang said patting her bed. "Pyrrha is waiting." Blake  simply said causing Ruby and Yang to head towards the door way. "Where are you guys going?" Cypress asked as Weiss went into the hall to wait outside trying to get everyone to start heading out. Ruby "Pyrrha wanted to go to town to do some window shopping, you want to come?" "sure, got nothing better to do." Cypress shrugged and Ruby smiled "yay! this will be so much fun! Maybe we will see Penny." She said happily as they left Beacon for town. Cypress was staying behind a few paces and just watched the friends talk with a sigh. Suddenly her phone went off she looked down to see a message from an unknown number that said: meet me in 10 minutes outside  the battle arena. Hesitant she looked up at the group then back  down at her phone "hey guys mind if I catch up with you in a few minutes I have to go check on something." Turning around slightly Ruby nodded "sure C, meet up with you in a few ok?" Cypress nodded and headed to the arena.

~Hey Guys!!! Courtney here and I'm Back and all I want to do is work on my stories so for the next day I'm probably going to work on my writings. I want to go ahead and apologize for saying I would update every ten days then go  into exams and then get to busy to work on my writings but I have a life too and I hope you understand.
