Chapter 9: Out With The Old In With The New

~The next day Cypress meets with Stormy~"I'm going to be honest the past few days have been the worst." Cypress said to Stormy as they walked through the city. "I know Cypress I miss him." Stormy said and looked through a shop window "I talked to my parents the other day.." Cypress sighed and Stormy looked at her "and..."~there was a pause~ "...and they had no clue their son died they just returned from a mission." Cypress looked down and Stormy put her hand on her shoulder reassuring her. "Hey why don't we find you your own personalized look?" Stormy asked happily changing the subject. "Um... I don't know Stormy I like my outfit." Cypress said looking at herself hesitantly. "Come on C I know this isn't you. Well the belt is but the dress and your hair... It's to close to Ruby and I think she'd like to have her look back." Stormy said jokingly yet serious. "Well when you put it that way... ya." Cypress said going into a dress store and looked around. Then in the corner of her eye she saw a beautiful blue strapless ruffled dress, the front stops just past her waist for a pair of leggings and the back ruffles went to her ankles. As soon as she saw it she fell in love buying it and heading to the closest fabric store to buy some pieces to customize it. While at the fabric store she finds these beautiful sparkly silver roses, matching sash like fabric as well as some blue and silver fabric for a cloak. She looked at Stormy who was smiling back at her happy she was able to cheer Cypress up. "Lets go get some shoes and then a haircut." Cypress said excitedly, Stormy nodded. They walked into the shoe store across the street and found a nice pair of black knee high boots that stopped about 3 inches under her knee she then went to the leather section and got a pair of blue leather boots and blue shoe laces. After she checked out Cypress and Stormy went to the hair salon asking the lady to ombre her hair starting blue to silver. Cypress came out smiling and Stormy was wowed. "Wow C your hair looks amazing!" Cypress smiled " Thanks for the idea Stormy I needed this. Now I just gotta work on my outfit." Stormy had a huge smile on her face "wait Cypress before you go work on that I want to give you something, close your eyes." Cypress looked weirdly at her friend "Um.. Ok?" She said closing her eyes. She then felt Stormy place something in her hair and opened her eyes seeing Stormy holding up a mirror in her face showing a blue, silver, and black metal rose in her hair. "Wow Oh My faunus Stormy! It's Beautiful!" she said hugging her friend tightly. Stormy hugged back "I'm happy you like it! I'll see you tomorrow!" Cypress nodded and went back to her dorm to work on her outfit. After working on it for the past couple of hours the finished product was the ruffle dress with a silver sash and the cypress pin her brother got her on the belt like sash with silver roses placed randomly all over the dress. She then made the matching cloak and cut apart the blue leather boots to make a Cypress pattern going up the black pair of boots and the same pattern going up the back of the Cloak. She put her new outfit on with the rose still in her hair she looks in the mirror. "The legging need something.."She said and put her weapon on her back under the cloak going back into the town to get something for her leggings. As she walked down the street her fellow Beacon students looked at her and whispered to each other. She walked into the fabric store trying to figure out why everyone was looking at her and whispering other then the fact that she was in a new outfit. she found some blue and silver gems she could add onto the bottom of the leggings and on the dress to give it more of a shimmer. As she walked out she saw everyone staring across the street now. She looked over seeing this new kid. Tall black hair with bright orange eyes and orange highlights, he was wearing ripped jeans and a black muscle shirt with an orange belt and a chain hanging out of his left pocket. Apparently she's been staring at him for quite some time to where he noticed and was looking back. She then snapped out of it and turned red running. "Sorry." she said embarrassed and ran for the forest. "Hey wait!" The guy said and she continued running.

~ Hey guys Courtney here sorry for the boring chapter I just felt like changing the appearance of my character and sorry it took me so long to update we just finished EOCs for the first semester and over the snow days I wanted to spend time with my boyfriend because its rare we see each other for the whole weekend because we both work.
