Chapter 3: Old Friends are the Best Friends

Cypress looked at the door and there was another knock Ruby stood up heading to the door "If your not going to get it I will" she said with a shrug. Cypress jumped up suddenly "no i will, i was trying to make it suspenseful" she said with a laugh and opened the door to see her brother looking down at her with a smile. Cypress's jaw dropped "Jason?!?" she said surprised and happy to see him as she gave him a hug. Jason laughed "we got ahead of time with our plan for the mission so we were able to come back early" he said hugging her back. Cypress "that's great" she said looking behind him to see her brother's girlfriend who is one of her best friends "Jason i am disappointed in you Stormy is here and you didn't tell me?" she said sarcastically pushing past her brother to greet her old friend. "I see you got accepted to Beacon, congratulations!" Stormy said with a smile. Cypress smiled back "oh, i almost forgot i wanted to tell you Ozpin put me on team RWBY." Cypress turned to her brother as she said that. Jason was still trying to think of something to say about the Stormy thing causing Stormy and Cypress to laugh. Cypress looked at Ruby who was smiling at her looking as if she was waiting for an introduction. Cypress put her hand to her forehead "i am so sorry Ruby your standing right next to me and i didn't even introduce you... Jason, Stormy this is Ruby, Yang, Weiss, and Blake." She said pointing to each of them. Jason grinned at them as Stormy wave her hand crazily and practically yelled "Hi it's nice to meet you all, i'm so happy Cypress was able to be on such a great team!" With that said the team smiled, Blake grinning once she doesn't smile. Yang was about to say something to Jason when the intercom went off "Team JASE report to the launch bay immediately." As soon as the message finished Ace and Eclipse appeared  behind Jason and Stormy. Ace and Eclipse waved at Cypress then looked at Jason. Ace "sorry to interrupt but we have to go to the launch bay immediately if you didn't hear the intercom, we are going on another mission." Stormy "Ace we heard the com we were waiting for you guys to catch up" she said giving Cypress a hug goodbye after Jason gave Cypress his. "bye Cypress, see you soon" Jason said as the four of them took off down the hall. Cypress watched them go and chuckled. Yang walked up behind her "i was trying to tell your brother that his bag was unzipped and i was afraid something might fall out" Cypress laughed "The bag is empty he just likes to lug that thing around on his back because it matches his outfit." Yang looked at her weirdly "ok then.." Cypress chuckled "yeah he's weird." As soon as Cypress said that there was another knock at the door. Weiss "who else are you expecting Cypress?" she said sounding like she was getting irritated. Cypress shrugged and opened the door "Mercury?" she said kind of confused "Can we talk?" Mercury said sounding nervous. She looked at him for a moment "sure.." she said as he grabbed her arm and took off running down the hall until they got outside into the emerald forest. "Hey what was that all about?!" Cypress said madly. Mercury sighed "sorry, i just need to ask you if you have any way to contact your brother without the academy knowing." She looked at him and rolled her eyes "of course i do why?" Mercury "ok, start typing... tell him that Mercury said if he doesn't attack from the ground that they will be spotted and captured. After he gets in tell him to make a right and that there will be a small air vent at the top of the wall to the left. He needs to go in the vent and cover it like they never even touched it, then they need to make two rights that should lead them to an opening in the vent to were they need to be. From there he needs to use a magnet tied to a string to get the data chip out of the computer and to him. NO OTHER WAY!" Cypress looked at him concerned and confused as she hit send "why?" He looked at her " If he doesn't he would set off multiple alarms and be killed in sight." he shrugged as her eyes widened "WHAT?!?" Mercury "you don't have to worry if he follows what i told you to say then he will be fine." Just as Mercury finished talking Jason messaged Cypress back "got it."
