Cypress (A RWBY fan fic)

Chapter 5: Betrayed..

Cypress looked at her teammates "Thanks again, are we ready to go?" she said watching as they stood up looking heroically with all they need packed. "Cypress I think you forgot about how are we going to get there without flying and/or not having Ozpin know?" Weiss said with a hand on her hip. Cypress smiled " I know a guy my brother knows who is going to help us get there." She said Simply. "That still doesn't answer how.." Weiss said a little annoyed. "He's a pilot." Cypress said walking out of the room to go get Mercury. When she got to his room she noticed it was to quiet and when she knocked no one answered. "hmm..." She said and started to walk around the school looking for him. A little while later she still didn't find him and with time running short she was growing impatient when she was stopped by an announcement. "Cypress please report to Ozpin's office immediately." Cypress was furious "Mercury..." she mumbled under her breath through her teeth as she headed to Ozpin's office. When she gets there she suddenly blurts out "I'm going to rescue my brother if you like it or not and no one will stop me even if it means rescuing him myself!" Ozpin "I know and I'm going to allow you to rescue him, it is not optional anymore you and your teammates are now on a mission to rescue him once it's said that he does live." Cypress slightly nodded "thank you Professor Ozpin." She said walking out and went to go get the team to leave. As they board the ship Cypress calls Mercury and waited a few more minutes but the pilot said if they wanted to follow her plan then they needed to leave now. She closed the door and they took off  and  she walked to the front, thoughts about where Mercury was going through her mind. When they got there she took a deep breath and jumped off the plane once he could only do a fly by to not make it obvious. As soon as she landed she looked at her teammates "ok time to spread out team A go East, team B go North, my friend will keep an eye out to the west and I will go South. Stay with you're partner no matter what, and thanks for letting me lead on this mission Ruby I owe you." Cypress said smiling at Ruby before she turned and started heading South. Ruby "No problem, I bet you would to the same if it was me and Yang." She said looking at her sister then started to go East. After a while of walking Yang stopped hearing something in the bushes "who's there?! Show yourself!" she said in a threatening tone as Ruby takes out her scythe scanning the bushes when suddenly white fang members jumped out "It's a trap" she said looking at her sister who was looking at the white fang members in a fighting stance. Blake and Weiss appeared behind Yang and Ruby "we must have gotten turned around." Weiss said suddenly noticing the white fang "you think, but it's a good thing we did" Blake said walking up next to Ruby as Weiss walked up next to Yang. "I hope Cypress is still following the plan" Ruby mumbled to her team as the began to fight the white fang. Cypress continued walking when she heard a twig snap behind her, she quickly turned around pulling out her blades to see her brother standing before her "Jason!" she said excitedly as he smiled she brought the blades down to her side and walked towards him only to watch him get shot by Jr. and standing next to Jr. was Mercury. "NO!.." she screamed watching her brother fall to the ground. Her face filled with sorrow which turned to anger as she charged at Jr. only to be blocked off by Mercury who blocked every swipe of her sword "How Could You Let Jr. Shoot Him!" she yelled speeding up her fighting technique. "tell me why I shouldn't kill you now?" Cypress said as Mercury started to show weakness.

Hey guys sorry this chapter is a little shorted then usual I don't have a lot of time to write chapters right now due to finals for first semester next week (those in/was in highschool would understand), and that is why the last update was longer then usual, its for I didn't have to type as much this chapter but anyways hope you guys enjoyed and the next update will be after finals
