Chapter 16: Turf War and Bad Team Player

Professor Port began the count down as teams CPAS and SSSN exchange looks. They were going against teams CRDL and BRNZ, Cardin giving Cypress the death glare. Cypress laughed as she nudged Ash "Hey, I think Cardin is out to get me." She chuckled as Ash looked up at Cardin "I think he's mad over the bruised ego of getting his butt kicked by a girl more than anything." He whispered back at Cypress who laughed harder. "Begin!!" Professor Port hollered and everyone nodded at each other before taking off. "Platinum, Shade you know what to do. Sun you and Neptune got the trees right?" Ash said looking towards Sun as Scarlet and Sage took off behind the enemy teams deep into the forest. Sun nodded and jumped into the tree. It wasn't long after before paint began flying closer to Ash and Cypress. "So what do you have planned for me?" Cypress asked while dodging paint and returning the favor to the opponent team. Ash looked at her and laughed with a shrug " Eh, I thought you would figure out something stupid to do." Cypress glared " What do you mean stupid?? My ideas are great... for the most part.." she said with a laugh. Sun being above them called down "They are trying to surround you! If you don't have a plan I suggest you guys think of one in the next 5 seconds or run for it, so far it seems the only way out of their formation is to run North and push past Cardin and Dove." He announced while shooting at the incoming opponents trying to gain Cypress and Ash. Neptune let out a yelp a few yards North in front of Sun "I'm out! good luck guys win this for us and please light Cardin up that hurt!" Cypress narrowed her eyes "of course it would be them.. I bet they planned this. Hmm, THAT'S IT!" Cypress yelled in excitement while looking mischievously towards Ash. Ash seemed to think for a minute before speaking, "Oh, No! Nope nope nope" he said taking a few steps back form Cypress. There was a pause and they hear professor Oobleck call out "If I call the following names your are out please return to the edge of the forest, players still in do not shoot them or else you will be disqualified as well, Shade and Platinum of CPAS, Sage and Neptune of SSSN, Nolan,Brawnz and May of team BRNZ, and finally Sky of team CRDL!" The opponent teams took no time to advance towards Cypress, Ash and Sun. Cypress put her ears back as she heard them closing in. "NOW OR NEVER ASH!" She yelled at the guy as he sighed and took out his chain. "Fine, just know that I do not accept this idea and like I said it's stu-...HOLY MOTHER OF BEACONNNNN!" Ash screamed as Cypress took out her staff and turned it into a sniper shoving Ash's chain in the barrel with some gun powder so that when she shot it the heat will cause a chain reaction.  (see what I did there hehehehe.. I'll go now) As his chain got super-heated it caused it to do what it was meant for and that is to catch on fire allowing a bit of an explosion as it left the barrel of Cypress's gun due to the extra heat applied and allowing enough force to send Ash into the trees quite the distance North. Sun began to follow after him laughing so hard he could barely keep his eyes from tearing. " I like how you think Cypress he called as she turned her sniper back into a staff and catapulted herself into the trees nailing Roy right in the mouth in the process. "Hey Sun? How far did Scarlet get?" Ash asked as Sun and Cypress caught up to him almost dying of laughter as they see him wrapped up in his chain dangling from a tree branch. Scarlet popped out of no where with a finger against his lips and pointed down revealing a Russel and Dove looking around. As Sun helped untie Ash, Scarlet shot Dove right in the back of the neck. Cypress held her hand to her mouth as she tried not to laugh when suddenly they were lit up with paint as Russel blind fired into the trees. Sun was able to jump down behind him and use his semblance long enough to distract Russel and shot him in the back. When the paint stopped flying towards Cypress, Ash, Sun and Scarlet, they saw which of them got hit. Scarlet and Ash looked down with a sigh as they were pretty much dripping in paint for it seems they shielded Cypress for the most part. They wished Sun and Cypress good luck when Cypress was shot right in the back of the head by Cardin. She growled in frustration as she followed Scarlet and Ash out "SUN YOU BETTER LIGHT THIS BOY UP!" she yelled as she walked away. Sun smirked as Cardin approached spraying paint towards Sun as he blocked it with his nunchuks. Cardin gritted his teeth and came closer shooting more and more paint, Sun used this at his advantage and used his tail to bounce over Cardin and lit him up from head and down. Professor Port yelled out "AND THAT'S GAME! The winners are teams CPAS and SSSN! Congratulations!!"

I had someone ask why paintball instead of a stun-gun match or something, and the reason is my sister and I are in the top pro paintball players at our local field, in fact we became really close to the owners once we play so much. I love it because the refs actually began to tell new players to look out for the clones xD (because we are twins wearing the same exact camouflage with the same gear) it's so fun because the new people doubt us at our local field because we are young girls, but its all fun and games until I shove a smoke grenade up my sleeve mwahahha... You see I throw it in the opponent teams bunker flushing them out while my sister sneaks over to the most used door and lights them up on their way out as I go in the other door and flush the players who wanted to wait it out, out ^-^.  But anyways I thought it would be fun to do a chapter on something people could relate to if they played paintball (aka getting shot in the back of the head or in the neck ಥ_ಥ)
