TWO WEEKS LATER
Friday, September 9th, 1994

Emily's POV:

I am once again woken up by the very "pleasant" sound of my alarm clock.

"Ring, Ring, Ring, Ring"

I look at the time to see that it is 6:30am. I woke up a little later than usual but that's alright. I quickly change into my clothes that I chose yesterday.

Over the last two weeks, not much has happened with the guys, except for the fact that Betty and I go to watch them rehearse almost every day, but other than that nothing much has happened.

Reggie still hasn't made a move on Betty which is crazy if you think about it because during the first week of knowing each other, it seemed that by now they would be dating, but they actually just stayed the same despite admitting their feelings for each other.

Alex and I have basically become best friends at this point. Since Betty and I don't hang out as much as we used to (I don't blame her though and I'm not upset about it). Alex has even come by my house a few times and met my mom.

She was so thrilled to meet him, and we all ate dinner together until Alex and I went upstairs to go talk and do science homework together.

As for Reggie and I, we've become really good friends too and he even accidentally slipped out a few compliments for Betty while we've hung out.

FLASHBACK

Reggie, Betty, and I were sitting on the couch because all of us (including Luke and Alex who were standing) were trying to decide on what to eat since we were getting tired of pizza.

After what felt like hours of trying to decide, which was only really 10 minutes, Betty suggested that we go out and buy hot dogs. Everyone liked the idea and Betty got up from the couch to grab her jacket which was on the other side of the room for some reason, and Reggie muttered under his breath loud enough for only me to hear "Wow, she's perfect."

I immediately gasp at Reggie's comment and he quickly turns to look at me and says, "Wait a minute! Did you hear what I said?!" He turns a bright shade of red as he asks me this question and I immediately reply with, "YES! And that was the most adorable thing you've ever said!" Everyone including Betty look at the two of us in confusion and Luke speaks up and asks, "what are you guys talking about? What did Reggie say?"

"Nothing" Reggie and I both say in unison as we immediately change the topic so that the rest of the band can forget about this little incident.

Bobby actually became a bit distant from the band after our performances that we did two weeks ago. He still goes to the rehearsals but doesn't talk to the boys much during school which was weird.

Finally, things between Luke and I have been really weird to say the least. The first week after we hung out at his "special place," Luke distanced himself from me. This obviously made that little "crush" that I had on him go away since it was clear that he didn't want anything to do with me. Then all of a sudden, everything went back to normal. Maybe even a little bit more than normal. We talk way more than we first did, which still makes me wonder why he distanced himself from me for a week, but I eventually just let it go.
