Emily's POV:
Two Week's Later, After School"Emily, c'mon! We've waited TOO long and now I'm worried that we won't find the perfect dresses!" Betty says as she drags me into the mall.
"Betty, where are we gonna find 60's dresses? Last time I checked, the mall only sells modern attire." I say sarcastically as Betty rolls her eyes. "I checked online and there's a store in here that sells outdated clothing, maybe they'll have some dresses." She says as she continues to drag me through the mall and through the food court.
"Can we stop by to grab something to eat after?" I ask as she agrees since she was beginning to get hungry as well.
We finally arrive at the store that Betty was talking about and we walk in and are greeted by an old lady at the register.
"Why hello girls, what's brings you in today?" She asks as she stands and slowly makes her way over to us. "Hello, our homecoming is next week and we were wondering if you had any dresses from the 60's?" Betty asks as I just look around the room in awe.
"Oh, how exciting! I can look in the back to see what's available." She says as we both thank her and she leaves.
"Wow, look at all of these dresses." I say to Betty as I walk up to a dress similar to the ones they wore in the movie, "Grease."
"I know, hopefully she's able to find something for us." Betty says as we were interrupted by the lady walking back with two dresses in her hands.
"You girls are very lucky. These dresses just came in yesterday, and let me tell you, these dresses were very popular in the 60's. Why don't you try them on?" She says as she hands us the dresses and leads us to the dressing rooms.
"Which one do you want?" Betty says as I hand her the purple dress.
I know her too well to know that she would much rather wear the purple dress than the white one. "Thanks." She says as she walks in the room to change as I do the same in the other.
When I finish, I open the door, only to realize that Betty and I came out at the same time.
We both look at each other in awe as we realize that these dresses were perfect.
(Emily in the white and Betty in the purple)
"Oh my gosh, Emily you look beautiful!" Betty says as she gushes over our dresses. "Me? Betty you're the one that looks incredible!" I say as she thanks me.
