Emily's POV:
Right now, I'm getting ready for the dance. I showered and did my hair so now it was time to do my makeup and put on my dress.
I did light makeup, only putting on some powder, mascara, eyeliner, and blush. Once that was done, I put on my dress and put on my shoes.
I look at myself in the mirror and can't help but smile. I really do wish Betty was here so we can go to the dance together since we're matching.
At least I'll see her there and maybe I can try to talk to her.
Anyways, it's about 6:40 and Jesse said that they would all be here before 7 to pick me up.
As if on cue, I hear my doorbell ring and head downstairs. When I open the door, I see Roz, Matt, and Jesse standing there looking very nice.
The boys were wearing black tux's and Roz was wearing a nice emerald dress.
"Wow, Emily you look great!" Matt says as I thank him and let them all in. "Can I just say, you are rocking that 60s dress!" Roz says as she hugs me and I compliment her outfit as well. "Me? Roz you're the stunning one here." She thanks me and now it was Jesse turn to finally speak up since he was quiet since he got here.
"Sunshine you look...you look beautiful." He says sincerely which makes my heart skip a beat. "Thank you." I say as I hug him and he immediately takes me in his arms.
"We should probably go though, so we won't be late." I say as they all agree and we get in the car and we were off to the dance.
"You guys excited?" Matt asks as we all agree. "Hopefully I can find a super cute guy to dance with." Roz says as we all laugh. "Well I'm just thankful that Emily agreed to be my date." Jesse says as he looks at me through the mirror since I was sitting in the back with Roz.
"Awww!" Matt and Roz say, teasing the two of us. "Shut up." Jesse says as we all laugh.

We finally get to school and all of us get out the car and make our way inside. We walk through the halls and into the gym which was where the dance would take place. When we walk in, we see the 60s decoration and thankfully some people, and the chaperones, were dressed in 60s clothing.
Jesse grabs my hand and we all walk in together. Soon I see Alex, Luke, Reggie and Betty here. They all looked really nice.
Especially Luke.
He was wearing a classic black tux like most of the guys, but his hair was a bit slick back.
I realized that I was starting to stare at them so I looked away.
Betty's POV:
We've been here for about 10 minutes but no sign of Emily. That was until I looked around and saw her, she looked amazing.
I wish we could've came together since we were matching but it is my fault, I was the one ignoring her.
"Emily's here, I'm gonna go talk to her." I tell the guys as the all ask me where she was. When I point to her, they all see her and Luke's eyes light up.
