Chapter 14- Memory lane/ Flashbacks

(2012 June)

" Moonbyul unnie look there's Dahee unnie over there" It was a warm spring in the south of 2012. Students walking their way to school. To work and pursue their goals in life. Everybody planning their own future. To graduate and to go to college. But Moonbyul doesn't find any way to turn her face. She has been wanting to be a rapper/singer in an entertainment company ever since she opened her eyes to the real world. But her grandfather and father not having her childhood dream. Sure every firstborn of their family needed to sacrifice their dreams just to take hold of the family business. So Moonbyul knows her dream is no use at all.

Moonbyul and her friends were about to go approach Dahee. A smart and beautiful Lee Dahee from states. Moonbyul has been gaining interest in her ever since. But they were both the same. Not another step the friends took a back step seeing Dahee hug a Guy assuming it was from the varsity basketball team again. Moonbyul turned her back trying not to be hurt by it. She's been hiding her feelings for so long that she doesn't want to think of it anymore and just leave.

"Hey, Byul unnie-" Seulgi shouted calling Moonbyul trying to follow her fast pace. Moonbyul not bothering to look back at them. "Argh! This is stupid" Moonbyul told herself grabbing her hair. They stopped in the cafeteria seating at one of the tables near the window. Moonbyul's gaze locked outside maybe counting the leaves falling. " There they are" Chaeyoung shouted before standing waving at the group of girls looking around maybe finding them as well.  Moonbyul can hear the greetings being held by chaeyoung and Dahyun to the people arriving. She knows them so why would she turn to greet them. "Oh, another friend?" She heard wendy asked making Moonbyul turnaround but not making it noticeable. She hates it when she found something interesting, because of her intimidating and dark but catchy aura.

"Hey, babe()" Moonbyul was shocked to look around at her friends kissing their other group of friends. I mean as a partner way. "You're not telling anything to me are you?" Moonbyul sarcastically asked before she turned her back away to them again. Chaeyoung shyly laughed scratching her none-itchy nape. "We don't want to make you an outcast unnie, You know we love you" Moonbyul rolled her eyes at the reason.

Seulgi looked around to find an Idea to lighten up the mood for byul. " Unnie, you should stop your crazy habit of girls. Just be loyal to one...here's Wheein though" Moonbyul turned around to look at the wheein girl head to toes. Wheein just shyly smiled at her revealing her dimple making her adorably cute. It was the first time moonbyul looked at something for a while that she didn't even realize.

"I guess we should leave you both here"

(2012, August)

" So do you like Wheein?" Moonbyul is in a middle of a consultation with her friends surrounding her. Moonbyul has unknowingly been so close to wheein, even at its lightest, the group knows it. Moonbyul doesn't like being all sticky to someone. Or her cold aura scaring them away. But to Wheein is really different. Moonbyul will even buy Ice cream for her every time Wheein has an upcoming test to cheer her up. It's just solidly different than they expected her. Everyone is waiting for her answer. And all looking at her like a creep. Everybody holding their breath.

"Yep" Everyone exhaled realizing they were being so intense. Dahyun and Wendy went to Moonbyul's side smiling mischievously like they were planning something. " Tell her Unnie!" Moonbyul shook her head still not giving a damn. Everyone groaned in annoyance at their Unnie. "Come on Unnie-" they were startled by the chimes indicating that someone entered the cafe. Moonbyul stood up first shoving her friends away just to see Wheein who approached her. Her friends trying not to burst in a cringy way. But hoping for the best they wish that Moonbyul can stay loyal and happy with wheein until she can finally find the guts to confess.

(2012, December)

The Gang pulled Moonbyul in a rooftop of the school. Even though it's chilling they still succeeded to pull her up in there. " Why on earth did you bring me here?" They were frightened as moonbyul hardens her voice at them they tried to make her calm. They know that it was all of a sudden but it's Moonbyul's birthday and they just wanted to do what Moonbyul can't do.

"Relax Hamster, not on this high place," Seulgi told her pointing at the edge of the rooftop. Still being completely clueless about what she would do. The school is close since it's school break. But they still managed to come in because of Dahyun doing her signature dance in front of the principal.

"So what now?" Asked Moonbyul. The Four looked at each other saying the signal by their eyes. "Easy, Just turn around a shout, What you wanted for your birthday present and also for Christmas. Everybody doesn't doubt her only wish is to find the guts to confess to wheein. But from everyone's view, Moonbyul is one who will only listen to someone once. Moonbyul turned around one's closing her eyes to gather what she wanted to say. Just one wish and it's over.

"My wish is to have Jung Wheein as my girlfriend! I'm sure of her and... I love her so damn much!!!" After that she catches her breath ready to go back home. "Hey guys I'm done-" She was surprised that her friends didn't leave. She thought that someone left but It's just someone entered. Moonbyul went being frozen at her place by the person in front of her.

" Do you mean that Byul?" Moonbyul wanted to say something but a lump is preventing her. "Come on Unnie say it!" Her friends cheered, Moonbyul looked down darting her eyes on the floor before nodding. Squeezing the hand warmer on her hand really hard. "Yeah... I love you Jung Wheein I hope you feel the-"

"I love you too Byul"

There was silence enveloping them. As they just both confess their feelings for each other. Wheein has been crushing on Moonbyul ever since she has been being near her. She's just scared of what Moonbyul is in school. What she is being. What other people tell her about Moonbyul. But realizing it all she doesn't need other's opinions. She needed to hear it clearly from Moonbyul herself. They will never let go of the Moments they made.
