Galti tumhari ho ya meri
Rishta toh humara haina...***
"Alright, yeh gol gappe jaisa munh kyu fulaya hai?" When the car stopped on red signal, Hanan turned to Ayat and asked.
(Why are you sulking?)
Ayat was still sulking about the kiss, about his behaviour in shop, what he said in parking lot and he sent Kabir away. She did not answered him.
"Ayat, tum kiss ko leke upset ho?" He again asked.
(Are you upset because of the kiss?)
"Toh nahi hona chahiye? Aise beena bataye aap kiss karenge toh gussa nahi ayega?" Ayat said under breath, while playing with the ring in her hand
(If you will kiss me without telling me, won't I get angry?)
The same ring which Hanan put in her finger.
Inside, she was nervous, feeling thousand of butterflies fluttering there, as her mind keep recalling the kiss, she was feeling warm pit in her stomach. She even felt shy looking at Hanan which she never felt before. She didn't like it, she didn't want to feel this, but she was still thinking of his lips on hers.
"Theek hai, abse bata ke karunga kiss." One hand, Ayat was embarrassed, and Hanan was enjoying it. He loved the blush on her cheeks because of him, he loved her timid behaviour. Most importantly, he loved it that Ayat isn't quarrelling with him now. Otherwise, when Ayat called Kabir, Hanan felt a need to yell at her, but because she didn't say anything and was behaving mousy, his heart melt down in her, he couldn't say anything to her.
(Okay, from now on, I will tell you before kissing.)
His words made Ayat gasp, "Aap..." She opened her mouth to scold him, but no words came from her mouth. Because when she looked at him, unconsciously, her eyes fall on his lips as she again looked at her hands. Not wanting to interact with him, praying she just reached her home quickly. But the signal wasn't on her favour too, she felt as if it is taking ages to turn green.
(You...)
"Achha itni khamosh toh na raho, tumpe suit nahi karta..." Hanan again tried to make her say something.
(Silence doesn't suit you.)
Ayat again didn't say anything. And suddenly, without a warning, she opened the door of the car and got down.
"Kya kar rahi... Ayat, Ayat?" Hanan called her after but there was no use of it now. She already left him. And he couldn't followed after her because the red light turned green and the car behind his honked.
(What are you... Ayat? Ayat?)
"Yeh ladki," He angrily muttered, parking his car on side, he soon followed on the footpath where Ayat ran away.
(This girl.)
"Ayat," He easily found her because she didn't reach far. She was on the footpath, sitting by the support of her knee and angrily mumbling something to her. "Yeh kya badtameezi hai?" Hanan asked.
(What non sense it is?)
"Hume kya maloom? Jake unn bachho se puchiye..." In return, Ayat yelled, again looking down. It is when Hanan noticed Ayat was holding a dog in her arms, the dog was badly injured on its head and Ayat was putting her handkerchief to her wound.
(I don't know, go and ask those kids.)
"Yeh kya hua?" Hanan asked as he also sat on his knees to check on the dog.
