"Humare time mein toh dulhan ko ek ek mahine pehle hi mayoon baitha diya jata tha." Rukhsar said, holding saucer and tea in her hand which Ayla just served her.

(In our times, brides were made to stay in their home way before marriage function started.)

"Mere time pe toh mayoon hi nahi hua tha." Khushnuma complained while looking at Shahzain

(But this didn't happened in my time.)

Shahzain asked her to be quiet, Khushnuma shrugged her shoulder up in asking manner,

Everyone present there were looking between Shahzain and Khushnuma's silent exchange of words.

"Tumhare exam toh khatam hogaye haina?" Rukhsar avert her attention from Shahzain and focused on Ayla. Who sat beside her mother, after serving everyone tea

(Your exams are completed, right?)

The elder of the house were gathered together to discuss about functions of Ayla and Kaif's marriage, where Rukhsar had problem that Ayla was still going to her college even when the date of rukhsati is close, and just because of her college, they are not holding any functions

Only Ayla and Kaif, from young generation, were present there with elders. Because it was their marriage

"Tayi ammi, woh... Exam toh complete hogaye bas kuch important lectures hi Hain..." Ayla replied slowly while looking between her mother and Rukhsar

(Yes, my exams are completed.. it's just.. some of important lectures are going on...)

"Ek hafte mein woh bhi complete ho jayengi." Rubab added

(This will be completed in a week.)

Ayat looked at the closed door of lounge and wonder what elders are talking about, did they come with a date for the functions? when the functions of her sister's marriage will start? These questions were running in her mind.

"Hume samajh mein nahi araha Hai ki hum Kyu allow nahi Hai waha?" Ayat sigh then whined, catching other's attention

(I can't understand why we are not allowed there?)

Kabir and Shyra were watching a movie in t.v and Hanan was busy in his phone

Kabir opened his mouth to reply to her and it was him, who's answer Ayat was waiting for. But Hanan interrupted both of them

"She is actually right.." Ayat was shocked when heard him supporting her, but his another sentence made her close her mouth in annoyance

"Ghar ki dusri bahu Hai Ayat, hum dono ko toh hona chahiye tha waha sabke sath." Putting his phone back in his pocket, Hanan casually said and leaned toward her side

(Ayat is the second eldest daughter in law of the house. At least we both should be there.)

Which made Ayat scoot away from him

"Dekhiye, Hanan...." Ayat point her index finger at him and started saying

(Look, Hanan...)

"Aap hi ko toh dekhta Hoon, Mrs. Hanan." Hanan looked at her with dreamy eyes and charming smile,

(I'm looking at you, Mrs. Hanan.)

Kabir cleared his throat, when Hanan looked at him, Kabir raised his eyes brow at him, telling him to be patient.

Ayat was already embarrassed to say anything as her ear turned red, she now seemed to be interested in the movie which was broadcasting on television
