"Ayat kaisi hai ab?" Kaif asked to Ayla, who passed him one cup of tea, and sat down, maintaining a distance from him.

(How's Ayat?)

"Theek hain, hosh nahi aya. But blood pressure stable hai." Sipping her tea, she informed him.

(She is fine, still unconscious. But her blood pressure is normal.)

"Kabir se baat hui apki?" They were here because they both talked to Kabir and Shyra separately, now wanted to share the information with each other and figure out what they can do.

(Did you talk to Kabir?)

"Haan." A look of guilt crosses Kaif's face. When Kabir needed him, he wasn't here. Only if he was here, maybe Kabir would have felt comfortable in sharing his problem with him, he would have told Kabir to get his senses back and not let Shyra get engaged to anyone else.

(Yes!)

Kaif told Ayla Kabir's reason of being silent. He didn't want more trouble for the family. Everyone were going through a lot. Ayla and Kaif's falling marrriage, Ayat's accident, and Hanan in America. Everyone in the family were worried over something, if Kabir had told anyone he likes Shyra, who's father was already thinking about her marriage with someone else, it cold have arises more problem in the family.

Kazim would never say yes to Kabir's proposal over his own nephew's proposal. Hamna would have been in the support of Kabir. And Shyra, she would never want to become the reason of her parents argument.

"Bechare, apni achhai se maat kha gaye." Ayla tch, after hearing everything. The tea in her hand has now turned cold.

(Poor guy, got hit by his own kindness.)

"Shyra ne kya kaha?" Kaif asked, turning to her.

(What did Shyra say?)

"Unhone toh hume confuse kar diya." Putting the cup away, Ayla sat in criss cross position and started telling him.

(She confused me.)

"Unhe ek taraf gussa hai ki Kabir ne unhe kyu kaha Basim achhe larke hain jab woh khud pasand karte the unhe. Aur unhe yeh bhi gussa hai ki Kabir ab kyu keh rahe hain jab unki shadi already Basim se ho rahi hai. Aur unhe pachtawa bhi hai ki uss time woh bhi apne parents ke samne kuch nahi bol payi, aur ab kuch bhi ho jaye, woh iss shadi se mana nahi karengi. Unke parents ki izzat ka sawal hai." Ayla told everything in one breath, then she took long breath in and out to calm her heart.

(She is angry that why did Kabir tell her Basim is a good guy if he liked her. And now why he is confessing, when she is marrying Basim. And she also regrets that she shouldn't have kept silence in front of her parents and yes to Basim's proposal.. And now, whatever may happen, she is gonna marry Basim only, because she doesn't want to ruin her parents reputation.)

"Make sense." Kaif mumbles.

"Par aise toh apni zindagi barbad kar lengi woh. Jissey pasand nahi karti unke sath kaise khush rahengi woh." She didn't like how casually Kaif is taking all of this, as she told in scolding manner. As if all of this is his fualt.

(But like this she would ruin her own life. How can she be happy with someone whom she doesn't like?)

"Kai baar jissey pasand karte hain insan uske sath bhi khush nahi rehta." Deeply, Kaif said, looking at her.

(Sometimes, we aren't happy with the one whom we love.)

"Achha, zyada philosophy na karein." irritatedly, Ayla showed him her palm.
