"S-sorry." He finally let me off. My eyes blanked a few times before fixing my sit and turning off the television.

"I-"

"I-"

There again! I shouldn't have started the conversation. Why does it feel so hot in this living room? I could feel that my cheeks were burning.

"You first."

"No!" He turned to me. Probably shocked by my loud reply. But as soon as his eyes met mine, we looked away. "I-I mean, you first."

"Uh? I'm going to my room. Y-you should sleep too, don't stay up too late." He handed me the pillow before making way to his room.

Just until I really hear the sound of his door getting closed, I finally release the breath I've been holding not too long ago.

"W-what was that? We kissed? For real?" I bit my lower lip, still thinking that it was a dream but the face of him just now won't leave my mind for a second.

You must've been crazy, Hyeyoon ah!

"Hyeyoon, faster! Why are you late today? This is so unlike you." I ran towards Yeojin who was standing at the main enterance, waving her hand to call me over.

"I'm sorry, I couldn't sleep well yesterday." I walked by her side heading to our class. As usual, every morning, I'll listen to Yeojin's nagging about her cats, her boyfriend, and her younger sister. How I wish I could just pair my messy brother with her sister.

"Wait!" I was startled when she pulled my arm hard, probably stopling me from taking any steps forward. We were already outside of class, couldn't we just settle things inside? "Oh my gosh, Hyeyoon!"

There, that over-reacting looks. She was scanning me from the top to the bottom. Did I not dress up as usual? No, I don't think so. "What is it?"

"You look, pale. I think I know where did it go wrong." She took out a lip gloss and applied it on my lower lip. "Mmm."

"What em?"

"Seriously, Hyeyoon? Don't act like you've never worn make up before. Your lips, I mean. Do it like this." She pursed her lips, sticking the lips together.

I did the same as I checked myself if it was perfectly applied on my lips. But the quite sticky lip gloss reminded me of yesterday incident. Maybe that was the reason why I forgot to put on my lipstick.

"No." That drove me crazy, I remembered very neat and clear of how that kiss felt like. And I think, I've just turned my mind into a dirty mode. Switch off the mode, please. I casted away those imagination and stopped staring at the reflection of my lips on my phone screen.

As soon as I lifted up my head, my eyes caught a guy standing right in front of his class that was opposite of mine. "Aah!" The phone was sliding off from my grip the moment I recognized that face. He changed his gaze to me. Perhaps my short scream caught his attention.

"Hyeyoon, what's wrong with you?" Yeojin picked up my dropped phone and handed it to me before pulling me inside the class with her.

It was raining hard, I wondered how will I get home. I've always got bad luck during rainy day. As soon as all classes ended, I made my way to the bus station but before I could even reach there, I felt my wrist being gripped by someone. "Follow me."

I remained silent as I followed him to..the auditorium? Wait, why would he bring me here?

"They're going to set up the stage, don't you want to help?" I paused for a minute. He deliberately made me doing work here or he actually wanted me to wait for him and go home together?

"Uh? Of course I want to." An insincere laugh stopped Taeyong from questioning me anything, taking that as an agreement to lend a hand to him and his team.

I followed him to the stage after leaving my bag at the audience seat. "I'm going to check other equipments at the store. Ask Sooah for work if you don't know what to do. Make sure to distant yourself from the wiring things." I nodded at his nag, not even taking them serious in my mind.

After he left the exit door, I stared around the auditorium first instead of finding works to do. Just like the event of acting class teather, the preparation involved almost everyone in SFC team. They were busy working on everything to make sure there would be no mistake.

But honestly, I don't think it is necessary to prepare two weeks before the real event. I mean, they can just adjust things two or three days before. Am I wrong?

"Hyeyoon, are you here to help too?" I nodded to Sooah. "Then can you help me check these lists?" She gave me a file of papers and asked me to sit at the table next to the podium.

"Hey, do you still remember last year's got talent event? We setted up the spot lights and do soundcheck, but then the power was off because of the storm."

"I know right! I remembered that. It was super dark back then, luckily no electric shock. But it's still funny to remember. Everyone was like a zombie to find a way out."

I overheard a conversation that I think I shouldn't have heard. Hard to deny, all the bad imaginations were crossing my mind. W-what if it happen again today? I was shaking that I accidentally dropped the pen.

The light suddenly turned off for a second, but it came back that fast. That surprised me, even my palms were sweating a lot. Let alone saying the sweat from my forehead was dripping off.

I closed my eyes, trying to clam myself and stop my shaky hands. I heard nothing, not others' voices and not any rain sound. I just heard a sound of footsteps running closer to me. That sound became loud and clear.

A sound of slamming door shocked me, I opened my eyes and changed my gaze to the exit door. Taeyong was running all the way here. I could tell from how he was dying to catch breath.

Ignoring others' question of "why do you run?", he arranged his steps to my place.

"Taeyong, this is-" It was unbelievable seeing him ignored Sooah as well as others. I bet Sooah didn't expect that too.

Right after he approached my table, he held both of my sweaty hands. "W-what are you doing?" I talked in whispering way so that no one heard us. Of course I know that everyone was staring because they got confused of this situation, but that doesn't exclude me out.

He still chose to not say a word so I didn't dare to question more. But I felt a different. I mean, my hands have stopped shaking after he held them.

How did he know that I'm having a hard time?
