Today should be a day off for Music students but here I was, following Taeyong to school at 8 a.m to help him setting up the stage.

The theater will start at 11 so only students of Acting class were here, practising everywhere in the auditorium. This was my first time entering a huge auditorium like this.

But, this place was crowded of staffs helping to check the costumes, props, lights and all.

Taeyong, he's a busy person in my eyes. I was impressed by how he worked hard to do everything for this school. Without sighing or complaining.

"Sit here first. I'm gonna do the soundcheck. Call me if there's anything you need." He saved a place in the audience seats for me but, wouldn't it be boring that I'll be sitting here watching they all setting up everything until the theater starts for real?

It'll be three hours, my dear! I pulled Taeyong's sleeve softly, changing my gazes into a pitiful one.

"You can go to the backstage, right?" He nodded without hesitation. "Um, then can you..? You know, can you?"

"What are you saying?" He raised one of his eyebrow, asking me for a clear statement.

"Can I go there too?" I wasn't a person who can sit still for even an hour, how is it possible for me to sit here doing nothing for exactly 3 hours?!

He hummed in agreement, leading me to the backstage. I had nothing to worry since I was here with Taeyong, which means that I have those permissions he had too.

"Don't go anywhere until I'm done with the soundcheck." He left me after I promised him to wait here.

He looked cool in everything he did, even he was just talking to some random people and touched the sound system button.

The backstage seemed to be bigger than the actual stage. They have those mirrors with light bulb I usually seen in make up artists show on television.

I was busy taking a selfie of myself that I didn't realize some of the acting students came in a group. They were looking beautiful and amazing in those costumes. I guess they were waiting for the make up to be put on.

"You are..?" They all came towards me, I saw the girl who invited Taeyong yesterday.

"Oh, I'm Park Hyeyoon. In major of Music." I unzip my purse and showed her my student card. But I noticed that she wasn't looking at my card, her eyes were staring at the meal card of Taeyong that I put at the transparent side of my purse.

As I noticed that she was staring at Taeyong's card, I awkwardly putting back my student card and zip my purse. But I still could hear clearly of how they whispered into each other's ears.

"She came here with Taeyong." Okay, I had a bad feeling about this. Like, all of them had that look of 'Taeyong is mine' on their faces.

I stay silent, how can I say anything at this point? Some of them were my senior in senior year. "And what are you here for?" The tallest one among them spoke.

"I'm waiting for Taeyong. I'm sorry if I'm bothering your preparation, I'll leave now." I bowed and took my sling bag with me.

"Wait, can you help us?" I nodded without bother to ask what favor would it be. "We're in a rush to get ready now. Can you help us pass these drinks to the staffs on stage?"

That wasn't a big deal, I took the box full of drinks and started to meet the staffs one by one. "Here's a drink for you." I approached this guy who was wearing a red hoodie.

He turned to me and a smirk formed on his lips as soon as he noticed me recognizing him. He was the guy who got me drunk last time, someone who exclaimed himself as Taeyong's friend.

My face expression changed immediately as I saw him acting flirty. He was grabbing my wrist tightly instead of taking the drink from my hand. "Don't give me that look, you made me look like a bad person."

"Let me go." I pulled my hand hard but he just tighten his grip and pull me closer to him. I released my grip of the drink, letting the can fell on the surface of his foot. I was sure that he felt pain that he let go of my hand immediately.

"I'm sorry." I took some steps backwards but my back hit something, making my strides ceased at a moment. I turned around and saw Taeyong standing still right in front of me. He was looking irritated, facing the person behind me.

I took a slight look, the girls of acting class were peeking at us from the door that was connected to the backstage. He then changed his gaze to me. "Who ask you to distribute these?" I put the box aside and just about to pulled him away from this stage.

"She's a guest, an audience. What's with that manner of asking an audience to do these things? Is this your attitude towards someone who came to support your theater?" I felt bad that Taeyong was scolding them all just because of me.

What's wrong with helping them giving out some drinks? I didn't understand why was he so mad. "T-Taeyong, I agree to do these by myself. It's not their fault. They need to get ready now, right?"

I forced a small smile and brought him down to the audience seats. "The theater is about to start. Let's not talk about it anymore."

As the empty seats started getting less, the lights were turned off and they only let the spot lights on the stage opened. It was a story of a love that can't end up together, a really touching love story.

"Taeyong, look-" My sentence left unfinished when I saw Taeyong was sleeping safe and sound next to me. He wasn't paying attention to the performance since the start, why bother to come if he's not watching at all?

My eyes were focused on the stage again. Somehow I feel like, the story line was quite familiar to what I experienced now. The main actress has been looking at the guy she likes from the behind for a long time. She did everything she could to make the guy happy even she knows that the guy won't ever look at her.

"He's going to propose to Lea. What are you doing here? Why aren't you stopping him?"

"He likes Lea, why should I stop him? Love isn't about forcing someone to love you. Sometimes love is about letting go, endure the pain, and give up."

"You give up that easy?"

"It has never been easy for me. But, I have a cancer. I'll die sooner or later, how can I let him love a person like me?"

I knew it was just an act, but it left a deep impact in me. It feels, real. The sincerity they put in acting it out, I felt it. I can't stop shedding tears, maybe this is the strength of acting class students.

The girl ended up died in the operating room. How can they came up with such sad and heart breaking story line? The red curtain finally closed just as the theater came to the end. I woke Taeyong up and we went out from the auditorium.

"You can cry even it was just a making up story?" He sure has nothing good to say anymore.

"All you were doing was sleeping. What do you even know about it?" I wiped my tears by the tissue he handed me.

"Yeah, yeah. You won. Let's go home now."

"Wait, can we have something to eat first? I'm hungry." I stopped him. He let out of a sigh, just so done with my demanding attitude. But he still nodded, even I knew he was originally wanted to refuse.

We were heading out of the school building but both of us stopped when someone called Taeyong's name. "Taeyong, can we talk?"

It was, Kim Sooah.
