The seashell he gave me at the beach was tightly being gripped in my hand. I stood a few steps away from Taeyong who was getting ready to leave.
My eyes were looking down on my feet. As he had decided to leave, I can't stop or change his decision.
The wait didn't last long, the train he should be getting on had arrived on time. He was about to leave me but I didn't move or say anything to him.
"Sis, sister." Jisung pushed my arm, he noticed that I've been zoning out since we walked Taeyong here to the train station. Not even a word escape my mouth. "Brother Taeyong is leaving, do you have nothing to say to him?"
Pfft, he's going to other girl, what can I even say to him? Stop him from going to Sooah?
I looked up, Taeyong was standing in front of me. He seemed to be expecting something from me too.
I wanted to know why was he rushing to reach Sooah. This wasn't the first time I was being left behind because of Sooah. He dared to let me being stood up alone for Sooah.
"Um take care." He didn't get his eyes off of me, like he was asking for more words. "Your train is about to leave, get on now."
He didn't smile. I didn't know what does that serious look means. I can't interpret it well. Was he mad at me? What for?
"Oh, I'm leaving first." Just as soon as he got on the train, the door closed and the train slowly disappeared from my vision.
I turned around and covered my face, I couldn't let Jisung see me secretly crying inside.
"He's leaving, why didn't you stop him? Just 'take care'? Sister, I know you like him and there's nothing to hide anymore. If you like him, then go after him. Shouldn't it be like that?" He scolded me. Jisung I knew wasn't someone who has interest in love matter and at his young age, what does he even understand about love?
"You don't understand, Jisung. Love isn't always about owning, sometimes it's about giving, letting go." I left the train station, walking back to my grandparents' house.
"But, why?"
"Enough with asking me, Jisung. I don't want to argue with you about this matter." I felt furious, even his simple 'why' could make me raising my temper.
"Sister!" He stopped in front of me, blocking my way. We eyed each other but I tasted anger from his eyes. "After you broke up with brother Jungwoo, I thought you will end up being single for your whole life, you know. 4 years, you lost him all of a sudden and you ignored us, mom, dad and me. You tortured yourself that I think it's impossible for you to fall in love again. But now that you've finally opened your heart for someone, you easily let him go?"
His words stucked in my mind, he has grown up. "If others aren't giving up on you, don't give up on yourself. I beg you, sister."

Day passed, I took a train back to Seoul as I finished packing my things up. I had a long stare at the food container in my hand. Grandma seemed to like Taeyong a lot, she even asked me to give the cooked crabs and clams we collected last time to Taeyong.
I looked out trough the window and my phone suddenly rang. I pressed the green button, it was a sudden call from my old friend, Eunhee.
"Hyeyoon, have you seen Seoyoon's KakaoStory?" She sounded fuss. We've all gone to different college, but she suddenly brought up a story about our old classmates.
"No, what's up?"
"Tomorrow, they want to do a reunion just for girls at Shine Hotel and they said to bring a boyfriend along. Seoyoon, she talked about you in her new post. They said that you will be the only one who come without a partner." I bit my lower lip, furiously listen to each words that Eunhee said.
