Taeyong explained everything to her, clearing her misunderstanding. He genuinely likes her, things that unnecessary to explain were all spilled by Taeyong. Because he didn't want Sooah to take him wrong.
Sooah looked pale, maybe she was facing a problem that she cried to find Taeyong. I decided to stay out from their matter so after washing up the dishes, I left both of them talking in the living room.
But I was curious though. I just can't easily middle in or cast her away because she was treated like a special guest in this house.
Just like that, I ended up telling Taeyong nothing about Jungwoo's matter. But I really wanted to tell him about it, I wanted him to know even though I didn't know for what reason exactly that I wanted it to happen that way.
I couldn't sleep well due to overthought everything about yesterday. Soon as I woke up, I prepared to go to school. I took a glance at my watch, Taeyong must've left at this hour.
I've made up my mind! I'll definitely tell him about it if he asks me what I was going to say yesterday. I fetched my bag and some files of documents. Yeojin, a friend I just made had promised me to sit next to each other in class. So I didn't worry about getting in class late as I was sure that she will save me a place.
I opened my door, someone was leaning on his door with finger scrolling the phone screen. Of course, that someone was Taeyong. "Shouldn't you be at school now?" Is he actually waiting for me?
The bashful eyes of mine looking down at feet as I started fiddling with my hands, waiting for his answer. If my guess was right, eyy..
"I forgot a file." Unbelievably, he has actually left early but came back just to get a file.
"Then you can just leave after getting a file, why bother to wait here?" I mumbled to myself, but I think I said it quite loud though?
"I was going to see how long will you continue sleeping and skip your first class." My eyes popped out at his cruel statement. If not because of silly rules he made up that prevent me from getting any close to him or touching him, I'm sure I would've smacked his head hardly.
"Oh." Even just a word came out from my mouth, I've been cursing him in my mind non stop.
I walked to the shoe rack to get my shoes, so did he. While he was taking his, I accidentally pushed him that the file he was holding in his hand fell on the ground. "Oh, I'm sorry." I didn't mean it but somehow I had no regret over my action.
I helped him picking up the papers that were flying all over the ground but my hand stopped once I pick this paper. I scanned the paper, reading every writing on it. The paper was then snatched away from my hand.
I stood up and stared at Taeyong. "He..asked to change his course after accidentally seeing your data yesterday." That means, I'll be sitting in the same class with Jungwoo?
I hummed in acknowledgement, didn't dare to question more. Pretending like it was no big deal to me, I put on my shoes. Before I leave the house, Taeyong stopped my pace. "If he's giving you a hard time, you can come to Student Union club."
My sad face turned happy soon as I heard him saying that. Because as far as I know him, he wasn't someone who would say such things. "Then can I find you there?" I grinned as I faced him but I received his emotionless eyes as a return to my question.
Without dragging the conversation longer, I followed Taeyong to school. I've never imagined of going to school with him and I thought I would never get a chance to. When we reached school, I saw Yeojin with a guy next to her, hugging her by waist.
"Yeojin!" She turned to me, shockingly that guy was Mark. I looked at Mark's arm around Yeojin's waist before giving a curious look to Yeojin. Not to say that they can't date each other but, how can they? Just yesterday knowing each other and today they're already a couple?
"Do you come to school together?" I knew she was trying to avoid me, who was exactly seeking for an explanation.
Leaving Mark and Taeyong behind, I gripped Yeojin's wrist and pulled her with me to class. "I don't know how did it happened too. Maybe because of our feeling, we're now together."
Feeling? How could we have a feeling on someone in just a day? "You're so sure." I mocked her by silly expression before sitting at an empty chair, next to the class' windows. I looked out through the window and I noticed Taeyong figure in a classroom across mine.
Even in this distance, I could see his face clearly. "So..he's the guy who own your heart?" I was startled when Yeojin's head came to my right side, observing the view I was staring at.
"You're crazy." I pulled her behind so she sat back on her place.
Just at the right moment, the professor came in. "Someone, read the poem for me." University life has completely been different from my usual life, they start the lesson by just like that. Jungwoo stood with a paper in his hand, getting ready to read them out loud.
I couldn't deny the fact that he's good looking but, does he really need to volunteer himself to read such poems? Reading the tittle was enough to make me feel like quitting. 'Feeling', my ass. This was elementary school's lesson to be blunt. The right person who should read this was Yeojin.
"Wind blow differently today, what does it mean?" From the first line, I could tell that it was a clingy poem. They became more disgusting when it was read by Jungwoo, and he was looking at me as if he delivered the meanings to me.
Before things get weirder, I turned my head to look outside from the class. Oh, Taeyong wasn't in his class anymore.
"You, tell me what you think this poem means." My eyes hardly searched for him but I couldn't find him. Yeojin's leg pushed mine out of the blue, calling me.
With a crinkled face, I turned to her. She used her head, pointing at the professor. "He was calling you."
I separated my butt from the chair as I eyed the professor. "Um, to me..this poem is explaining about our feeling for someone." I was making an assumption to detach myself out of this. I didn't mind other classmates staring at me but couldn't Jungwoo turn his head away? It was uncomfortable.
"Say something more." Yeojin whispered slowly to me, probably because the professor was giving an unclear reaction. Something more, like what? I'm not a poet to understand these.
"The last five sentences explain about the poet is having a one-sided love. He/she help the crush to be with someone else even though there are too many hurtful feelings hiding inside. But even so, he/she has never thought of giving up because.." I was gibberish that I, myself didn't notice what I was actually saying or where did I actually stop?
My eyes caught Taeyong and his SRC club members patrolling around the building. He was explaining something to them by stopping at one to another class. They then stopped at my class. He was so close to the window that I can't take my eyes off of him, I've almost forgotten that I was standing in class.
"Because of what, miss Park?"
"Because.." Listening to my voice, Taeyong turned to me. I felt like we were standing in front of each other by just a wall distant us apart.
"Because he/she was thinking.. 'once I have a feeling on you, it will always be you."
