"Violin?" My eyes blinked for a few times.

Before he could even get to answer my question, the door opened wide. The girl who was standing at the door crossed her arms. I couldn't really see her face but as soon as she called out Taeyong's name, I realized that it was Sooah's voice.

My hands hardly pushed Taeyong away. He was a bit shocked by my sudden action too but I looked away. Looking at Sooah's bitter face, I knew that she felt uneasy with the position I had with Taeyong before she came.

Wait! I remembered Taeyong hang up on her call on my phone. Was she mad because of that?

"Do you have anything to explain to me?" Sooah eyed me who was standing up from the bench and then her eyes went to Taeyong. What explanation was she referring to?

About how we ended up in that kind of position?

My eyes were locked on Taeyong. He stayed still as if nothing really happened. Sooah was looking really mad, shouldn't he try to have a nice talk with her?

"It's okay, Taeyong. I've understood you enough. I won't be able to force you to tell me the things you didn't want to. I just hope that you'll always remember you're in senior year now. And I'm worried about your future." Sooah finally gave up.

Her simple words made me envy her a lot. Envy her for knowing Taeyong earlier.

"Thank you, Sooah."

His voice was very soft. He has started to talk very slow and soft to me but never with that tone. I must get myself out of here before things became more awkward.

Not saying anything, my legs moved slowly heading to the main door as my head remained down, staring at the floor.

"Hyeyoon."

"Uh?" I lifted up my head as I turned back to face Taeyong.

Looking at Taeyong and me who might need some personal space to talk, Sooah finally left us alone.

"You can play the violin, right? I'm inviting you to join me on duet." I have to admit that I felt a bit weird and unfamiliar with the new side of Taeyong. But I should take all the chances he left for me to get to know him better.

Before I move out. From his house.

I've spent 2 months in his house. He said nothing about that, I can't keep imagining him to extend the period or letting me to stay with him forever. No matter how much I wish he'll let me stay for a bit longer.

"Sure, I'll join you."

I sat on the couch in living room and staring at my phone. It was 6.45 p.m and I've been waiting for a call since 25 minutes ago. Taeyong told me not to cook as he wanted to eat out..with me. But he seemed to still be busy with university's work.

I felt hesitated to agree at first when he asked me to eat out with him. Not because it's wasting of money or troubling him to drive to a restaurant.

But the main thing that came to my mind was the existence of Sooah in the middle of us. Maybe I'm afraid that he'll leave me because of Sooah again. Same thing had happened for a few times but still, it hurts everytime.

A sound of ringtone breaking the silence, as well as my deep thoughts. I slided the green phone symbol and stick the phone closer to my ear.

"I've arrived." A smile appeared on my face as soon as I heard his sentence.

Not waiting for a bit longer, I immediately left the house locked and went to the main gate where Taeyong parked his car to pick me up.

I opened the door of his car before getting in. "I'm sorry, for making you wait." Now that I've been by his side, the unsatisfied feeling I had earlier disappeared at once.

"It's fine." I smiled. He continued driving. How can a person be so good looking by just holding the steering wheel? He seemed to have a place in my mind, since he didn't ask for my opinion at all on where to eat at so I didn't bother to ask.

Not too long after he start driving, his phone rang. The caller ID popped up on the mini screen at the radio but I pretended to see nothing while I actually saw it very clear.

Kim Sooah.

I changed my view to outside of the window. Maybe the dinner that should be just for two of us will include Sooah in?

Taeyong clicked the answer button on the screen as his right hand fixing the airpod he placed on his ear. I didn't hear Sooah's voice but I think she probably asked to meet Taeyong.

"Sooah, I have a thing to do now. I'm sorry, I'll come to you tomorrow." Taeyong unexpected answer surprised me.

Did he just, say no to Sooah?

"Wait, no. Why are you crying? Everything will be fine. Don't be scared." Listening to his comforting words, perhaps Sooah was facing a problem. I can't be selfish by stopping him from going to her.

Taeyong faced me before saying anything to the phone call. What reaction should I reply him? It was hard for me, but I gave in. I nodded as an answer to him.

After telling Sooah that he'll go to Sooah's place, he hang up the call. "Hyeyoon-"

"It's okay, you don't have to explain. Just drop me there, I can go home my own." My finger pointed straight at the sidewalk in front. I forced a smile, as much as I can. So he won't doubt me. Won't caught me for feeling unwiling to let him go. He has never been mine at first, what right do I have to stop him?

"No, I'll send you home first."

"Taeyong!" He was starled at the moment I raised my voice up. "Please listen to me this time. She's waiting for you."

Didn't want to argue, he drove his car closer to the sidewalks on the left. "Remember to text me once you reach home.

No special reaction, I nodded before getting out from his car. As soon as Taeyong's car left my vision, I took out my phone and clicked on the contact app.

My finger was scrolling over and over, looking for the right person to reach at this moment. I stopped scrolling at the id 'Lucas'. Hand forming a fist, I thought twice before pressing that name to make a call.

After he confessed his feeling to me, and I gave him a blunt rejecting answer..how am I able to face him?

"What makes you feel hesitate to call me?"
