Transitioning Into What?

Damon has been in the basement for three days. Stefan took his ring so he can't be in daylight without dying. Stefan and Damon have a daylight ring while I have a bracelet.

Stefan and I both went to school, "Stefan if you do tell her about you know us, can you just leave me out of it"

"Sure"

"I just want to tell her myself and also tell her I've been staying at your house"

"No worries"

"You do need to open up to her" I told him.

"We don't have to talk about this if it's uncomfortable"

"It is but it is what it is at this point, open up to her Stefan"

I went to work after school then I went home.

"Zach, are you okay?"

"Damon choked me"

I sighed "you alright?"

"I will be"

"I'll be in my room if you need me okay?"

He nodded as I went upstairs to my room. Then I went to the grill to get some food before this car wash thing at school.

"Why am I here?" I asked Elena.

"Because Caroline is our friend and we have to," she smiled at me.

"Right"

"Do you want to get your bracelet off? Could get dirty"

I shook my head "it's fine, thank you though" I left her and Stefan alone.

"Hey Allie, would you go check on Damon? In a bit?"

"Yeah of course" I nodded. We both went back to washing the car. I stopped and walked into the school as I went to the bathroom before going to Stefan "Hey, I'm going to check on Damon and Zach okay?"

He nodded "call me if anything"

"Will do Stefan"

By the time, I got to the Salvatore Boarding House. Damon was out of the cell, Zach was laying next to the door and died.

"Zach!" I held him "Zach!" I cried as I called Stefan.

"Stef" I cried "I was too late... Damon, he's gone and Zach..."

"What about Zach?"

"Come home"

"I'll be right there!"

I sighed as I picked up Zach and placed him on the couch. As I ran to Damon as I choked him.

"You have some serious issues!" I snapped his neck as I went over to Zach "I'm so sorry Zach, I should've come earlier... I should've, I'm sorry Zach" I sighed "I'm so sorry"

Stefan ran inside "What happened?!"

"Damon, he killed Zach... Stefan I'm so sorry"

"I'm going to kill him," he groaned.

"Stefan"

"No! Enough is enough!" Damon had already woken up and fled when it was dark.

"I'm so sorry" I wrapped my arm around him as I held him as we both cried "I'm so sorry Stefan"

Stefan pulled himself together as he grabbed a wooden stake and ran towards the front door. Where he paused.

"What are you?" Elena asked him freaking out.

"I think you know"

"No, I don't. What are you?" Elena asked stupidly when she already knew the answer.
