Is Everything Okay?

I sighed as I woke up and brushed my teeth and did my skin routine before I went for a bag of blood.

My phone rang "Hello?!"

"Auntie Alex"

"Jimmy? Give me a second okay?" I ran out of the house and far away from the house "everything okay?"

"Um no, it's Jenny, she had a bad fall"

"What?" I sighed "I um, I'll be right there okay?"

"Okay"

I hung up and sped back to the house. I ran upstairs as I packed a bag.

"What's going on?" Stefan stood in my doorway.

"Family emergency, I have to go" I sighed as I stopped "keep me updated on everything if you want, I don't know how long I'll be gone for"

"Is everything okay?"

"I don't know" I sighed "I'm just really freaking out and I have a flight to catch" I went back to packing as I finished up "I know it's short notice"

"No i understand"

"Um tell Elena, I'm sorry you know what, maybe I'll tell her" I grabbed my suitcase as I walked up to him "see you soon?"

"Yeah see you soon" he smiled as he hugged me "have a safe flight"

I smiled as I went downstairs to Damon who was sitting at a desk.

"Leaving so soon?"

"Family emergency" I told him. I walked over to him as I handed him a card "has my phone number, if you, you know need me"

"Why are you giving me your number?"

"Because I'm actually trying to be your friend Damon, believe it or not"

I walked back to the front door as I made it to the airport. Where I left, Elena, Bonnie and Caroline all voicemails so they know I'll be gone. I got on a flight and headed home.

"Okay!" I sighed as I walked into the hospital and said hello to some family members "how is she?"

"It's her hip"

I sighed as I let go of my suitcase and walked into the room.

"Hey baby"

"Grandma Alex, you came"

"Of course I am" I smiled "you are my last living granddaughter" I smiled at her as I sat down and grabbed her hand "what happened sweetie?"

"I slipped"

"You have to be more careful Jenny, you know that"

"I know, I know. I'm getting old" she smiled "I have to be more careful with everything"

I smiled "your father would have been so proud of you"

"You think so?"

I nodded "I just wish he was here to see what you've done to see how family grow"

She smiled "I miss him"

"Me too"

"Me three" I looked to see Anastasia with flowers "sorry I'm late"

"Oh sweetie! Come here!" Jenny opened her arms as Anastasia hugged her.

We sat there for a bit just talking about our family and Jenny's parents.

"I'm going to go to the house, drop off my suitcase" I told Jimmy.

"Okay here take my car" he handed me his keys as Anastasia and I both headed back to the house. The house she grew up in.
