What Did You Do, Brother?

I woke up as I forgot where I was for a second. I walked into the bathroom to already find a toothbrush and anything else I needed. I sighed as I got myself together. I crossed my arms as I went downstairs into the kitchen.

"Morning love, how did you sleep?"

"Actually amazing," I smiled.

"Do you need anything?" He asked me "I made sure to buy you anything and everything you might need"

"Uh just one, clothes" I smiled "do you happen to have any clothes for me here Nik?"

"You can use one of my shirts" he turned around and smirked as he looked my body up and down.

"I'm sure you would love that"

"Come on" he walked past me as I followed him upstairs as he also handed me his glass of blood as we walked into his room.

"Thanks" I finished the blood as Nik grabbed a shirt for me "where is Elijah?"

"Had to meet a friend," Nik told me as I handed him the empty glass as I grabbed the shirt.

"So that room downstairs that seems to be closed" I told him as I kept eye contact while I took off my shirt "what's in there?" I asked him as his eyes went down to my chest then back up at my eyes.

"My studio" he told me as I put on Nik's black shirt.

"You still draw?" I asked him as he nodded.

"Now I paint too"

"Maybe you can show me your studio sometime" I went to my room as I put my hair in a messy ponytail as I grabbed my clothes.

"You're leaving?"

"Well yeah"

"You can stay, you know? Maybe we can have a bite" Nik smirked at me.

"Nik, you know I don't feed on humans like that"

"Right, I forget"

"Of course" I rolled my eyes as Elijah walked in.

"I hope Niklaus was generous while I was away"

"As generous as Nik could be" I smiled.

"Let's have a drink, we're having company tonight"

"Company?"

"Stefan and Damon Salvatore will be joining us for dinner"

"Why are you inviting them over?" I looked at Elijah.

"So we can come to an agreement" Elijah told me "I also picked out a dress for you to wear, you have a few options"

"Well I guess I should get dinner prepared" Nik left the house as I looked at Elijah.

"Lijah, what is going on?"

"Just be ready Alexandra" I nodded as I went upstairs to my room as Elena called me about Caroline. I sighed as I went to Caroline's house.

"Care, Elena just told me" I wrapped my arms around her.

"He needs to feed Alex, I can't, I can't lose my dad" she cried.

I sighed "he made his choice Caroline, you have to respect that" I told her "you know my youngest Caleb, he didn't want to be a vampire" I told her "it killed me because how am I supposed to spend forever without my son? But he was clear, he knew what he wanted for himself and what he didn't want. As much as I or Anastasia wanted to change his mind. It wasn't going to happen so we had to come to terms with it, and we made the best with our time together" I smiled "your father loves you Care as much as it hurts, you have to let die the way he wants to die"
