I woke up as I went to the bathroom as I got myself together as my phone rang.

"Hey Lexi babe!"

"Allie! How is Mystic Falls?"

"Beyond crazy right now" I laughed "but I plan on going home very soon and I mean it this time"

"Did something happen?" Lexi asked me.

"No" I shook my head "I just miss it, it's the most human I have ever been just being home with the family. I plan on taking Anastasia with me, if she wants of course"

"Wow, well you already know I'll come visit you"

"Yeah you better" I smiled "talk to you later Lex?"

"Of course babe!"

I hung up as I went downstairs "Damon!"

"Hey Tasia"

"So how was Kansas?" I asked him.

"It was alright"

"And Kol?"

"Kol was Kol"

I sighed "well I know how to pick them, don't I?" I smiled.

"Yeah you do" he smiled "you going to this dance tonight?"

"Why? Do you want to ask me?" I smirked.

"Sure" he smiled "why don't we go get a drink at the grill?"

I nodded as we went to the grill "and I would love to be your date Damon" I smiled "hoping to make a certain human jealous?" I asked him.

"I have no idea what you're talking about"

"Right" I nodded as I took a sip. Then we went back home as Elena asked Damon to go to the dance. I then had a glass of wine.

"Stefan"

"Hey, will you be going to the dance?"

"I will" I smiled "I'm taking Damon"

"You're taking Damon?"

"Hmm" I smiled as I took a sip "he's one of my best friends plus you're going with Elena so"

I smiled "ah I miss the days when you used to flirt with me" we walked into the dance with my arm around his.

"I heard you're thinking of leaving for good"

"You heard that huh?" I asked him.

"Yup, how come you didn't say anything?" He asked me. I put my hand on his as we danced.

"I wanted to say something" I mumbled "I have waited long enough for your brother and I can't wait anymore"

"Come with me, I have to talk to Stefan and Elena" I nodded as Damon walked up to Stefan and Elena. As the four of us walked into a classroom "Alaric isn't taking the herbs Bonnie gave to him"

"If Alaric is sick, we have to try something"

"We tried medicine and magic"

"Why don't we get him off vervain, compel him?" Stefan suggested.

"To do what, pretend to be Alaric?" Damon asked "the guy that we know is gone" he looked at Elena "we're talking about someone who not only hate vampires, but vampires sympathizers, which makes one of his most obvious targets, I don't know you"
