I sighed as I got up and went to my bathroom. Then I changed and went to grab a blood bag. I heard Elijah talking to Stefan and Elena. Tonight was the full moon. I walked into the room and sat down.

"Alright, how do we break this curse?" Stefan asked.

"Well the ritual itself is relatively straightforward. The ingredients, so to speak, you already know"

"The moon stone" I spoke while sipping on blood.

"A witch will channel the power of the full moon to release the spell that's bound within the stone. After that, Klaus being both werewolf and vampire, will sacrifice one of each"

"Where do I fit into it?" Elena asked.

"The final part of the ritual. Klaus must drink the blood of the doppelgänger to the point of your death" we all looked at Elena as Stefan put his hand on my forehead as he reached for his girlfriend or ex girlfriend's hand

"and that's where you come in" Elena looked up at Elijah.

"There is an elixir that I acquired some 500 years ago for Katerina. It possesses mystical properties of resuscitation"

"So I'll be dead?"

"And then you won't"

"That's your plan" Damon asked Elijah "a magical witch potion with no expiration date?"

"Damon" I stood up.

"You want to come back to life, what about John's ring?"

"Those rings only works on humans, the doppelgänger's a supernatural occurrence" I looked at Elijah "odds are, the rings won't work"

"I'll take those odds over your elixir" Damon then looked at the girl he was in love with "what if it doesn't work, Elena?"

"Then I guess I'll just be dead" Elena looked up at Damon. I looked at Damon and Stefan's faces. Damon seemed more frustrated than Stefan. Elena sighed as Damon walked out of the room "do we know if Klaus has everything he needs to do this?"

"Klaus has been waiting to break this curse for over a thousand years. If he doesn't already have everything he needs, my guess is by tonight he will" I sighed as I got and went to throw away the empty blood bag as I went to get a drink of bourbon. As Stefan and Damon were outside talking about Elena. Damon came back into the room.

"Must you make this more difficult than it needs to be?" I asked him.

"I'm the only one saying what everyone is thinking!"

"You are making this more difficult Damon, on everyone especially Elena and Stefan!" Then we heard a door slam.

"Get out"

"Jenna! Jenna!"

"Get out"

I walked into the entrance hallway as Jenna was holding a crossbow directly at Alaric.

"Klaus let me go"

"Prove it" Damon looked at his friend.

"Okay the first night you and I spent together" he looked at Jenna "Jeremy was about to walk in as I was..."

"Okay, okay it's him" Jenna shut him up as she put the crossbow down.

"Why did he let you go?" Stefan asked.

"He wanted me to deliver a message, the sacrifice happens tonight" everyone looked at Elena as Elena looked at Elijah "Alex" I looked up as everyone went into the parlor room.

"Yes Ric"

"Klaus also said one more thing"

"Okay, what did he say?" I asked him.
