I really didn't feel like being at work today between the twins, mostly kinsley, being up throughout the entire night and Benji waking up early as hell to go to work early which caused me to wake up too. All I wanted to do was sleep with no interruptions at this point
"You look like you over it" Destiny said to me while she laughed and I nodded
"I'm just.." I yawned which quickly irritated me and what made the situation worse, Angel walked up to me
"It's this woman that wanna talk to you. She said she yo momma"
Great!
I rolled my eyes before looking at destiny again and followed Angel to the room of the patient she talked about. I saw my birth mom pacing the room while she clutched into her purse. She stopped when she saw me and frowned her face a little
"You look like you need a long nap. Them big ass bags under your eyes"
I could hear Angel laugh which caused me to side eye her and then looked at this lady again
"I'm a mother of three. This is how you look when you actually take care of the kids you birth but you wouldn't know that huh?" I bluntly spoke, mot caring what came out of my mouth at this point. Like I said before I was over it today
She looked at me like I hurt her feelings but I just nonchalantly stood there with my hand on my hip waiting to see what she had to say "what? Why did you call for me"
"Ion know these other nurses. I want you working with me"
"And you trust me for???.. you'on know me either"
"I gave birth to you"
"You did?"
She waved her hand "Karma I'm not doing this witchu"
"Then don't. Cause you obviously don't remember the last conversation we had"
"You wanna bring up the past?"
"Look I gotta get back to work..." I replied before turning to walk off then stopped once I got to the door where Angel was obviously enjoying it "and don't call me for this lady again"
Angel's face quickly turned sour
"Girl I'm just doing what I was told so calm that down"
"And I told you don't come to me again. Next time call her real daughter cause it ain me" I told Angel before I started to walk off
"You only get one momma and you doing her like this. You sad as hell"
I rolled my eyes as I turned around to face her
"You don't know shit about me or my life and you won't ever know because I don't like you enough or probably won't ever like you enough to tell you so do me a favor and keep your comments to yourself and stay out of my business!"
"Trust me I'm not interested in shit you got going on so don't feel special"
"Like I said. Stay out my business. Ion know what Dishaun told you but I'm not the one you wanna try. Especially right now"
After I said what I said I turned around and walked off rubbing my forehead. I really needed to go to bed. I went to the break room and sat down at the table, laying my head down as the door opened and shut. I could hear Kelly's heels click against the ground as she walked to the vending machine and I guess she stopped
"Oh, karma. You okay?"
"Yeah..I just need to lay my head down for a little bit"
"Alright, take as long as you need now"
