I laughed a little, sitting back on the chair beside her "for what?"
"For everything I guess. Cause you didn't have to be nice to me if you didn't want to"
"You don't have friends or people that's nice to you..do you?"
"What made you ask that?" She laughed
"Cause I can tell"
She shrugged "people just don't like me and ion bother nobody. Especially at that stupid ass private school he got me going to"
"Yasmine, over the years I learned that you just gotta ignore people cause I can't even name the amount of people that don't like me. I mostly can't name em cause ion even know them"
"But how though? You cool as hell"
"Being cool done mean shit to nobody nomore. Especially when you move to their hood and take their favorite plug off the streets"
"Benji used to sell drugs?"
I nodded "yeah but my man all clean and saved now"

"How you come in here saying all of that when I just told Yasmine you got saved?" I asked him and he looked behind him before pointing to himself

I sucked my teeth as he walked over to me handing me kinsley but she held onto him tight

She laid her head on benji's shoulder and he looked at her

"Yeah. She probably call me over there to fuss bout some"
