"A vacation?" Benji asked as we laid in the bed and I nodded
"Yeah."
"How long y'all supposed to be going on this lil vacation?"
"Probably like 4 days"
"When?"
"I'm not sure yet. Sometime soon before summer is over"
He nodded before looking over at me while he rubbed kinsley's back as she slept on him
"And who all supposed to going"
"Me, Lani, MJ. I asked London and she said she'll let me know. I text Nunu and she said she'll go just text her the dates so she can take off and Bri.. I'm still tryina convince her to go but you know, she said she don't wanna be a buzz kill just cause she pregnant but ion think she will"
"I mean she can't drink but other than that she'll have fun"
"That's what I said. And I even told her I won't drink if she can't.. and I wish I could invite Arielle. I like her but you know, ion wanna make her feel uncomfortable or make MJ feel uncomfortable"
"You ever found out if she fuck with ol boy"
"I asked her in the middle of our conversation and she said no"
Benji just nodded and stayed quiet for a minute before talking again
"Kay I ain tryina control yo life and shit but I gotta lookout for my family"
"I ain say nothing about you controlling my life cause you don't"
"I'm just saying. Cause I know you probably felt some type of way when I said you was gone have to cut Mary off. And I fuck with her too but shit, when it come to you and my babies... I'll cut anybody off if I have to. Especially when it come to y'all safety"
"I was just thrown off guard. That's it but she said she don't"

Benji's phone started ringing and kinsley picked her head up making Benji suck his teeth while he grabbed his phone
"Lil girl if you'on take yo ass back to sleep" Benji told her and she just smiled as he answered his phone and held it it, I'm assuming answering a FaceTime call
"Aye" I could hear shy say and it sounded like Meechie was laughing as well so I looked in his phone and saw they were on Group FaceTime
"Move the hell out the way" I could hear bri say and she snatched the phone from shy "BENJI"
"Bri" Benji responded as kinsley crawled in between us, sat on her butt and rubbed her eyes before laying her head on Benji
"Ima ask you a question and you better not lie"
Benji sucked his teeth "that man ain cheat in years bri"
"Who said somethin bout cheating?" She asked and he shrugged
"I mean shit, this you and shy"
I hit Benji and he laughed while bri sucked her teeth
"Fuck you. I'm not even askin bout shy. I'm talkin bout that stupid ass friend of y'all's"
"Why I gotta be stupid bri?" Meechie asked with a smile
"Did Meechie really call my kids a threat to society?"
