"You should let me come live with y'all" serenity said to me on FaceTime and I laughed, making a bottle for Kyran who stood beside me holding onto my legs waiting for it
"It's not funny kayy" she whined, sitting down on her bed which she was supposed to be taking down
Serenity, who was now 13, has grown up so much. I'll say about last year in august she ended up breaking out of her tomboy style and Benji hated it so much but serenity also still knew that she wasn't grown so I told him to chill out. She kept her hair laid, lip gloss on her lips and a little bit of mascara on her natural lashes. Her favorite clothes to wear were skirts but she still wasn't that big of a fan of dresses yet.
I knew that she and Benji's mom were moving and I also knew that they were gonna move in with my mom since she was alone in that big house but serenity didn't know that which was why she was panicking
"Serenity calm down. I think you'll like where y'all moving"
"Momma told you where we moving but she can't tell me?"
"Ummm... yeah" I shrugged seeing her roll her eyes
"We sisters kay. You supposed to tell me all the tea"
I started to say somebody but Benji walked into the kitchen with Kinsley so I looked up but then looked back down seeing kyran start to get impatient waiting for his bottle. I handed him the bottle then picked him up as Benji looked in my camera to see who I was talking to
"Why the hell you got all that lipgloss on?"
"So my lips won't be dry"
"Why you gotta ask like that?" I defended serenity, looking at him
"Cause he think he somebody daddy"
"Cause I am somebody's daddy. And apparently I gotta be yours too cause you turn 13 and think you grown as hell"
"Cause she got on a little lip gloss Benji?" I asked while laughing
"You corrupted my sister. So don't you say shit" he pointed to me and I dropped my mouth open while serenity now laughed
"Benji you so extra. What you gonna do when kinsley get older?"
"Keep her away from y'all. I know that"
"Yeah whatever... serenity ima call you back later" I told her and she nodded
"Okay"
I then hung up the phone and left it on the counter while I walked out of the kitchen and into the living room, putting Kyran down and he sat on the floor drinking his bottle while I turned word party on the tv
I could hear the door open and the sound of a girl laughing which made me look and eventually MJ walked in the living room with her cousin behind her
"Where everybody at?" MJ asked as I sat the remote down
"Girl Benji in the kitchen with kinsley, shy took bri at her wings again, jr upstairs making a mess with Hendrix and Meechie didn't come yet"
"Meechie bringing his girlfriend?" She asked and I nodded
"Yeah..."
"Oh, I was just asking. I ain wanted her to... you know.. just cause we used to fuck with each other"
"She know you coming and she said she was cool. Ari ain one of them girls"
"Good cause ion want no type of drama" she said before looking back at her cousin "oh, Kay, Brooke. Brooke, Kay"
