"Felix!" Jeongin yelled as he swung the door open, already having seen us close in through the window. Within a split second the tiny bit of peace that was left became a chaos again. Jeongin took Felix's arm, dragging him inside. "Guys, Lix is back!" he yelled up, making everyone run and stumble down the stairs. As Chan came down too my eyes met his, to my relief a smile forming on his face too. "Thank you" he whispered before entering the living room in which everyone was now gathered.

The tension in the room was way worse than I thought it would be. Everyone just kept quiet, even Lix had seem to have lost all the courage he had just a while ago. "Felix" Chanbin started with, breaking the silence. He sighed, running his hand through his hair. "Was what Y/N said really true? Were you seriously going to leave us?" Felix looked at me, but I instantly looked down to the ground, avoiding his gaze.

"I..." Felix started, but he just couldn't seem to find the right words. "What even is the point in avoiding it" he mumbled to himself. "Listen, I don't know what came over me okay? I'm sorry, I really am. I know I hurt your trust in me and I understand if you guys are mad, but please give me another chance to make this right." The others looked at each other, but Chan kept his eyes focused on Felix.

"Why does it sound like you're expecting us to throw you out of the group?" Chan asked. Felix let out a chuckle, but it certainly wasn't a happy one. "I hope you won't of course, but in all honesty I was preparing myself for the worst." Minho started laughing much to Felix's annoyance. "Come on, this isn't exactly funny" he muttered. "No no, I'm sorry, but I just think it's funny how this is literally about you coming back and now you think we want you out."

Felix looked up as Seungmin continued. "The only reason we were like this is because we don't want you to leave. We all worked so hard together, we couldn't just give that all up. We were all looking for you to stop you from leaving, the last thing we would do is throw you out!" Jisung, who stayed quiet until now, got up, wrapping his arms around Felix as tight as he could, a tear streaming down his face. "Please don't leave us."

Felix froze for a second, but the tears finally started falling down as he hugged Jisung back. One by one the other's joined, making me wipe away a tear as well from happiness. I quietly made my way out of the living room. They should have some time for themselves to catch up on what happened.

"Y/N" Chan called out as I was about to leave. "Wanna go for a walk?" I peaked back, hinting to the others. "Don't you wanna stay here? I think Felix would really appreciate it if you stayed. He really looks up to you." Chan smiled, but shook his head. "There's something I wanna sort out here first, so please?" I smiled, nodding. "Sure."

The suspension was killing me. Was he mad at me for this morning? That's why he wanted to talk right? "I'm sorry" I finally said, making Chan look up. "What for?" I sighed. "This morning... That's why you wanted to talk right? I'm really sorry for not showing up, I understand if you're mad at me." Chan chuckled, shaking his head. "Don't worry, I understand. You brought Felix back, to me that's a reason enough."

My brows furrowed. "But then... Why did you want to talk?" I asked rather confused. Chan placed his hands in his pockets. "You know, this morning I came to realize something," he started with, looking straight ahead again. "This morning as we were on the phone, when you first mentioned Felix, in all honesty, I have to say I wasn't too happy about it."

I looked back down with a pout. "Sorry" I muttered. "No no, that's not what I meant" he quickly said. "I didn't like it, but of course I understood. Felix needed you, maybe more than anyone... probably even more than I do. And just like he needs you, you need him. The two of you have a bond that's stronger than any bond I have ever seen, and it'll  always be there. Whenever Felix needs you, you'll always be there for him and drop everything else, just like he would for you."

Chan glanced over at me with a sad smile. "I really like you a lot Y/N, but I don't want to come between the bond you two have." My eyes were tearing up as I finally looked at him, the same glinster in his eyes. He smiled, but his eyes told a completely different story. "You know it too right? You're still in love with him, and I think you know he loves you too."

He placed his hands on my cheeks, wiping the tears away. "Is this what I think it is?" I sniffed. Chan hummed, the smile still on his face. "This is goodbye Y/N" he said softly, almost too kind. He was right, and that's what hurt the most. "I'm so sorry" I cried out, but Chan shushed me by taking me into his arms for one last time. "Don't be. I just want you to be happy okay?" Even though his smile never disappeared, I could feel his teardrops falling down on my shoulder.

Chan pulled away again, his tears already vanished like they never existed in the first place. "I'm gonna head back home and sort things out with Felix, I'll send him over to your house later too okay? Don't make the same mistake twice and tell him how you really feel." I nodded, watching him turn around and leave as more and more tears fell down.

"Thank you... Goodbye Chan."
