As soon as the doorbell rang, my head shot up. I almost ran to the door, swinging it open. "Li-" I instantly said, stopping as soon as I saw who was in front of me. "Chan?" I asked confused as I saw him. He had a sweet smile. A smile you have just happy to see a certain someone. "Can I come in?" he asked innocently. I instantly nodded, still a somewhat startled. "Yeah, of course!" Wasn't he with Felix just now?

As we went into the living room, suddenly a silence fell. Was it because I was worried about Felix? Was it because of what he said about me and Chan maybe dating? Or because they just met and I had no clue what about? Whatever it was that was keeping me quiet, it made me more nervous by the second. "So" we both started simultaneously and awkwardly, looking at each other other in the eye in surprise, but soon bursting out in a sweet laughter, the awkward atmosphere seemingly disappearing.

"You go first" he said through his laughter, catching his breath and comfortably sitting down next to me on the couch. "I was just wondering about Lix. He suddenly left without saying a word and didn't take his phone with him. I don't know if he told you, but we got into a little fight earlier. We made up, but I can't help but worry." Chan simply kept the sweet gaze, putting a strand of hair behind my ears. "Don't worry about him, he's fine. He just..."

I'm sorry Felix, I really am.

"He told me he was going to try to patch things up with Seo-Yeon."

I didn't lie. He really said that, so, it's okay right? For me to make her forget about Lix. I'm doing the right thing... am I?

I forced myself to smile, looking down. "I'm happy for him. He really seems to care about her, I felt bad anyways for just leaving with Lix." Chan looked up rather surprised. "Are you sure? Letting him go like that?" I nodded, keeping the smile. "I am. I promised myself I'd give up on him, so it's for the best! If he's happy, so am I... I have someone else I want to focus on anyways" I added quietly.

Chan shook his head, looking rather worried. "Not to make you regret your decision, but if anything, Seo-Yeon will just make him feel way worse. She has that affect on people." I looked up at him again in confusion, only to remember what had happened just before. "I wanted to ask you about it, what on earth happened with you and Seo-Yeon?"

You could see him get mad again just at remembering it. He rolled his eyes, leaning back in annoyance. "She tried again." Tried agai- No way. He didn't mean... "As in, to get with you?" Chan nodded. "She... she caught me off guard while I was looking at you and suddenly kissed me. Before I could even react she backed away again, a sly smirk on her face, saying that she has been wanting to do that forever..."

My eyes widened, my blood boiling in anger. I instantly stood up, walking towards the door without saying a word. "Y/N, where are you going?" Chan asked, catching up to me, holding onto my wrist to get an answer before I stormed off. "What do you think, to tell Felix of course! That cheating bitch doesn't deserve him!" I wanted to get out of Chan's grip, but he kept holding on. I turned back, my brows furrowed. "Chan?"

He desperately looked at me, seeming to struggle to find the right words. "Listen, I tried to tell him in the past, but he just wouldn't listen. I tried to prove it to him, but he misunderstood everything, which caused a huge fight... I don't want to mess things up again." I let out a sigh. How could Felix be this clueless? "There has to be a way we can prove it! I know I can't date Felix, but I won't just let her use him like that! He deserves so much better!"

Chan slowly let go, looking awfully sad. If it wasn't for me looking back at him, I would have stormed off, but how could I when he looked so pained? Chan was right, just running off wasn't going to help, showing him would probably go wrong again, so all we could do was hope he'd come to his senses and hope that soon, when she was gone, he'd forget about her again.

I let out a frustrated sigh, ruffling my hair. "This sucks" I groaned, letting myself fall back on the couch. Chan slowly walked back again, sitting down next to me. "Are you sure you're still up for tomorrow, with you know, the date and all. I'd understand if you'd want to postpone or cancel or anything" he started slowly.

No. No no no no no. I'm moving forward, I'm forgetting about Felix. I have someone amazing right in front of me. I can't keep dwelling in these feelings for longer, it's time to move on.

"No!" I instantly said, maybe a bit too soon or loud, startling Chan. Even though he got startled, you could see a smile reappear on his face. "You sure?" I nodded, smiling brightly at him. I can't wait to see what you've planned! I'm really looking forward to it." Chan's smile grew brighter and brighter as he wrapped his arms around me, cuddling me. "I can't wait either!"

I smiled softly, breathing in his scent. His warm body, his conforting hugs, the way he could just relax me and make me excited at the same time.

I should really hold onto this feeling.
