"Chan, you're back" Felix exclaimed. Chan nodded. He had already wiped away all the tears just before he entered, he couldn't possibly come across as convincing otherwise. He looked around, noticing that at this point Felix was the only one here. "Where are the others?" he asked somewhat confused. "They went out shopping groceries for tonight, they said we'd hold a party or something" Felix answered with a chuckle. Chan smiled upon seeing Felix finally feeling better.

"Again, I'm really sorry for what happened, and sorry for ruining your date. Y/N was all worried you'd be mad, is everything okay between you two?" Of course Chan came back to talk to Felix about exactly this, but he by far wasn't prepared to talk about her first thing.
But he couldn't cry again. It was his choice anyway to end it, so he had to follow through. "There ehm, is something I have to talk to you about." Felix raised his brow, but sat back down on the couch with Chan joining him.

"We... we broke up" Chan said seriously. For a second it was quiet, but Felix couldn't keep the silence for long. "Are you serious? Why? If this is because of this morning than you can't do that, that's my fault." Chan shook his head with a sad smile. "It's not because of this morning, so don't worry..." "But then why? What even happened? Did she break up with you or the other way round, because I just can't see her doing it in all honesty."

Chan hummed. "She didn't, I did..." Felix let out a groan. "Why? I thought you loved her, how could you break her heart so easily!" "I do!" Chan shouted out, his frustration, startling Felix. "I do" he repeated once more, softly this time, "but I wasn't the one she really loved." Upon seeing Felix's confusion he continued. "There's someone else she's been in love with for years, and even after we started dating I just couldn't help but notice that the bond they shared was something I could never have, so in order to get a broken heart I broke hers first, it's selfish isn't it?" Chan chuckled, desperately holding back the tears.

Felix placed his hand on Chan's shoulder, finally making Chan face him again. He thought Felix would get mad at him. "I understand what you mean. Yes, it was selfish, but if you kept on dating while her heart still belonged to someone else it would just break you both in the end." The both smiled at each other until Felix pouted. "Though frankly I'm seriously not liking the fact at all that she still loves that guy. From what I know all he did was make her cry!"

Chan suddenly bursted out in laughter. "What on earth are you doing?" Felix asked. "You still don't get it do you?" Chan questioned, shaking his head. "Felix, have you ever even once noticed that the way she smiles at you, the way you make her laugh, is just a little different than with others? The way she got mad at you, or rather for you, because you kept believing Seo-Yeon who betrayed you? You're the one she's in love with you dumbass, she's loved you ever since the beginning."

Felix shot up, up from the couch, yet looked back. "But, you..." he muttered concerned, but Chan shook his head. "It's okay, make her happy for me okay?" Felix nodded, already running out. "She should be home by now!" Chan called after him, the tears finally falling down past his fading smile. He chuckled, quickly wiping the tears away again. It was them from the start anyways, he always knew. Now it had just become reality.

I finally looked up, seeing I was already at home after walking while just looking down on the ground. I couldn't even look over to the side, scared I'd see Chan. He was probably already home by now. I don't think I could face him anytime soon, though frankly ignoring him wouldn't solve anything either.

I heard laughter behind me, seeing Jeongin and Kriss lovingly talking to each other. I smiled at the two, though they hadn't even noticed me yet. They seemed so happy... I quickly turned back around, trying to open my door as fast as I could. "Y/N!" Krissel exclaimed happily, already running up to me with a hug. "It's been ages, I missed you! You have so much to tell me!"

I nodded, not looking at her at first. "Y/N? Everything okay?" She continued carefully. I turned to her, smiling yet with watery eyes. "Oh no" she said softly, quickly turning to Jeongin. "Innie, I'm gonna go with Y/N for a bit, I'll be back before dinner okay?" He nodded, smiling sympathetically at me. "Just so you know, if I need to hit anyone, even my hyungs, I got you" he joked, making me chuckle. "Thanks Jeongin, I'm keeping that in mind."

We all went inside, Jeongin over to the guys, Kriss and I in my home. She hugged me once more, allowing me to let all the frustration out. "It's been hard on you lately hasn't it?" I nodded, clutching onto her shirt while staining it with tears. "I feel so bad Kriss" I stumbled over my words. She took me upstairs, the both of us sitting down on my bed. "So, tell me everything."

She hummed as I told her everything. "So, if I'm correct, you liked Felix, Felix liked you but you were both too dumb to realize, you and Chan got closer, him and Seo-Yeon got closer, both of you thought it was best to give up on each other so started dating the other person, but in the end you still love each other and now... what again?" I sighed, remembering Chan's words. "He said he'd send Felix over, but he hasn't yet.

Krissels eyes widened, pointing behind me to the balcony both in shock and laughter. I looked behind me, seeing Felix stand in front of the window with the weirdest and exhausted look I had ever seen. I quickly turned back to Kriss who just bursted out in laughter. "I think you might want to take those words back."
