A/N: Yes, you don't get to choose their present, it's a wolf-dog (Pup) either way. I am fairly certain this is the longest chapter.
The Morning of Giving:
I get up and hastily get ready. "(BFF/N/N)-CHAN THE PRESENT AND YOUR PARENTS WILL BE HERE SOON!" I shout and she comes out of her room, already dressed. "I'm already awake." She mumbles and stifles a yawn. We head down stairs and I start making the milk bread. Just as I put it in the oven there's a knock at the door. "I'LL GET IT! CLOSE YOUR EYES AND SIT ON THE COUCH!" I shout and run to the door.
"Ko! Perfect timing!" I say and quickly usher him inside. "I'm kinda worried..." (Bff/n) mumbles with her eyes closed as the puppy tackles her. She quickly opens her eyes to see the wolf-dog. "I-Is this...my present?" She asks and I nod my head quickly. "YEP! It's a (Desired Gender)!" I say as her parents enter the driveway.
"Well, I best be off, bye (Y/n). (Bff/o/n/n), shall we?" Koshi says and she nods. "Thank you (Y/n)-Chan, I'll cherish (Name)!" She says as they walk to their cars. 'One present delivered, one more to go.' I think as I turn on the TV and watch season one episode one of (Show) while I wait.
After the episode, the milk bread is finished so I get up and put it in the box I made myself. I made it to look like Oikawa's jersey, it has a little note and everything. The note says, "Oikawa, Doru...Always number one...don't forget it." I put the milk bread in the box and grab my jacket. I skip over to his house and as soon as I make it to the house my nerves take over.
'We almost kissed yesterday, maybe I should just knock and run..' I think as I knock on the door. The door opens to reveal a young boy.
"U-uh is Oikawa, Toru here? I sort of promised him a present.." I mumble with a tilt of my head. "Uncle Toru found his soulmate already?" The little boy, supposedly Oikawa's nephew says and I shrug. "I mean we are soulmates but I don't pay attention to that kind of thing." I say with an awkward laugh. "(L/n), (F/n)...I'm the manager of his volleyball team, nice to meet you..?" I say and extend my hand. "Takeru." The boy says with a smile.
"UNCLE TORU! THERE'S A PRETTY MANAGER LADY HERE FOR YOU!" Takeru shouts up the stairs causing me to laugh. "Thanks for calling me pretty, Takeru-San." I say and he nods, walking to what I assume is the living room as Oikawa runs down the stairs with a small box. He closes the door after stepping outside.
"Hi (N/n)-Chan!" He says with a bright smile. I smile and give him my present. "Merry Christmas Toru-Kun!" I say and his smile brightens. He quickly opens the present to reveal the milk bread. "This is the best milk bread I've ever eaten! Can I have the recipe by any chance?" He asks with a tilt of his head. "Sorry! This is a family recipe only!" I say with a laugh and he gives me a small smile while handing me the small box.
"Here's your present. Merry Christmas (Y/n)-Chan!" He says with a big smile. I look at him in surprise and open the box, revealing a bracelet. The charm is a beautiful rose with gold trim.
"W-wow, this is beautiful..." I mumble in awe and look up at him after I put it on. "Actually...I have one more present for you.." Oikawa mumbles while rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly. "What is- Mmph!" I don't get to finish my sentence because he kisses me. My eyes widen and I stay there frozen for a split second. Slowly but surely, I smile and kiss him back as my eyes flutter closed.
As soon as they close, I hear a loud, ear piercing sound. My brain can't quite register it until my eyes flutter open. I look around and see myself in a foreign bedroom. I quickly get up and head to where what sounds like an infant is crying.
