Chapter 21. Finally?

I look back and forth between Atsumu and Kageyama, Atsumu seemed to hate his presence. "Hello, Atsumu," Kageyama said starting to glare back, I mentally gulp. "How about we not do this?" I place my hands on their chests and push them from each other.  "Why are you talking to Shoyo? He's mine" Atsumu said still glaring and clenching his fist in anger. I heard Kageyama scoff "What do you mean he's yours? What you're in a relationship with him? Last time I checked Hinata likes me more than you." My eyes widen at Kageyama's words, we haven't talked in that long? Noya and Azumane walked up to the situation. Noya pushing Atsumu away from Kageyama, Azumane pushing Kageyama away from Atsumu. I sigh and go towards Atsumu and Noya, I look forward to seeing a still angry Atsumu. "Tsumu I'm gonna need you to calm down, it's just Kageyama." Noya still having his hands on Atsumu chest holding him back. "Noya, let me handle this, please. Alone." With that Noya put his hands up and started walking towards Kageyama and Azumane.

          I quickly wrap my arms around Atsumu hugging him as hard as I can. He hugs back almost instantly and rests his chin on my head. "Tsumu, He's just a dumb friend.. what's got you so worked up?" I say as his arms wrapped around me tighter. "Did you not see the way he was looking at you? He wanted you so bad." I hear Atsumu say and I put my hands on his chest pushing away a little, looking up to him. "I didn't see anything from out of the ordinary." Atsumu shakes his head. "Shoyo, you're used to him looking at you like that.. you can be clueless at times." I frown and he smiled at me, wasn't he just mad? "Okay Shoyo I won't hurt him.. can I go back to the table." I sighed at letting him go and he walked to the table.

                I walk towards Kageyama, Noya, and Azumane. "Kageyama what was that about??" I say finally arriving in front of all of them. He glares towards Atsumu and then looks at me. "People like him need to know what's not theirs." My eyes widen, is he talking about me? "Kageyama, why are you talking about Hinata like he's an object," Noya added but I couldn't seem to get words out. Atsumu was right, Kageyama was looking at me that way. Why couldn't I notice the simplest things? "I'm not, Hinata is just better for me than him," Kageyama explained as I kept thinking about the whole situation. I finally shake my head out of my trance, I look up to Kageyama. I could see the craving in his eyes, did he always look at me like this?  "Kageyama.. we haven't seen each other in like forever, I and Atsumu have gotten extremely close" Kageyama's eyes widened at my words, they turned into a glare. "So he's taking you away from me, I thought you'd wait for me?" I take a step back, what exactly is he talking about? "Idiot Hinata, I've been trying to get with you for years! How have you not seen this?" He asked and I just stared at him in shock. He's liked me for years? How clueless could I be? this is insane. "Kageyama I... never knew," I say and he scoffs crossing his arms. "Of course... I'm leaving... text me more okay? idiot..." With that Kageyama had left, I stand there still surprised about everything. Noya and Azumane look at me with a concerned look. I smile at them and look around to see all eyes on us. "Common, let's get back to the table.. we kinda just caused a scene." Noya and Azumane both nodded blushing from the fact we were getting stares.

         We sit back in our chairs, I look at Atsumu who was playing with his food at this point. I wrap my arms around him to try to cheer him up, he hugged me back. "I didn't know you were so popular with people trying to get you," Atsumu said and pulled away from the hug. I miss his warmth. "Trust me... I didn't know either Tsumu." I smiled at him and he smiled back, I look around and it seemed nobody really was paying attention to our conversation.

        After we all finished we decided we should all go back to our homes. I gave Kōji and Izumi my biggest and best hugs, they waved us off and left. Noya and Atsumu gave each other a high five. With that Azumane and Noya left leaving me and Atsumu to go home. Atsumu got in the driver's seat and I got in the passenger seat. He turned on the car and then looked at me. "Shoyo..?" I turned towards him he looked focused on something. He places his hand on my cheek, his hands are freaking cold. "Yes, Tsumu?" I say leaning into his hand, the cold felt kinda welcoming. "Can I kiss you?" Atsumu said I my eyes widened, I blushed and nodded my head. He leaned in for a kiss, as our lips touched that tingly feeling came back. I close my eyes leaning deeper into the kiss. Kissing him felt like all my negative thoughts have disappeared as no one could hurt me. Like it was just me and him in the entire world. A kiss that only lasted a few seconds felt like minutes, we both pull away from the kiss. I look away in embarrassment, I'm still not used to him kissing me. He quickly turned away from me and reversed getting out of the parking spot. After driving for a few minutes I noticed we weren't going home, where was he taking me? I decided to stay silent, I didn't want to question him. Atsumu always sucked at surprises, he was so focused on the road. I lay my head on the seat relaxing, maybe I could take a little nap while waiting. I close my eyes feeling the comfort of the darkness as I slowly drift off to a nice sleep.

               I wake up to the feeling of someone shaking me, I open my eyes to see Atsumu. He was smiling with that beautiful smile of his." Come on Shoyo! I got stuff to show you!" Atsumu said really excited, I smiled back at him and nodded. We both got out of the car and I looked around at my location, I noticed something. Atsumu drove me to my old house?? Is mom home? I quickly run to the door and knock on it. I could hear Atsumu come up behind me, he placed a hand on my shoulder. The door opened revealing my little sister nastu, I give her a big smile and she smiles back. I give her a big hug and she hugs me back. "How have you been sis?" I say with my arms still wrapped around her. Nastu and I pulled away from the hug, Natsu was still smiling. "I've been great! Moms not home right now, she should be home later tonight." Natsu said and grabbed my hand leading me inside, I could hear Atsumu follow us inside. Natsu leads me to a trophy with a big grin on her face, is that from volleyball? "See? I'm just as good as you?" She shoves the trophy in my face, I look at it and it was legit. I smile and hug her again, she truly is something else. We pull away from the hug then hear a slight cough, it was definitely Atsumu. Natsu, and I turned towards Atsumu who was just kinda standing there awkwardly. the both of us laugh but do drag him into our conversation, we watched TV and ate snacks.

              After about an hour I heard the front door opening, it must be mom! I hop off the couch and run to the door, I arrive at the door and hug my mother. I could tell she was surprised at the fact I was here, but she hugged me back. "Hello Mrs. Hinata" I could hear Atsumu say, I could feel my mom laugh a bit. "Hello there Atsumu sweetie, it's been a while" I hear my mom say and I pull away looking at her. "Mom! How are you!?" I say pretty loud, and she slowly pushed me away. "A bit too loud Shoyo, I'm fine." I smiled at her and she smiles back at me. "No Natsu! Don't watch it without me!" I could hear Atsumu say followed by the sound of him running to the living room. I turn around and start to walk towards the living room when my mom stopped me. "Shoyo... son?" She asked and I stopped and turned towards her. "Yes?" I asked tilting my head to the side a little bit. She smiled at me and asked something I never expected.

"Are you and Atsumu finally together?"
