Chapter 29. My Friends

I'm staring out the window as we are driving on the highway. It was pure quiet, none of us said anything. We sat there just enjoying each other's presence. It's starting to get dark, I'm watching the sun go down when I hear Atsumu say something. "Babe... you okay?" Atsumu said and I turned towards him, his eyes were still on the road. He called me babe, I blush at the nickname but I look towards the road as well "I'm okay Tsumu... just kinda tired from all that volleyball." I say and turn towards Atsumu, he was smiling. "Take a little nap babe.. I'll wake you up when we get there," Atsumu said and quickly glanced at me with a little smile. I nod and get into a comfortable position so I can sleep. I close my eyes falling asleep peacefully.

           I wake up to a loud bang followed by a loud "shhh" coming from multiple voices. I feel around and notice I'm laying down in a bed. I open my eyes to see that I'm in a room that I do not recognize. I see a yellow floof appear from the entrance in the corner of my eye. I turn towards the door to see Atsumu looking at me. "Shoyo! You're up... good." Atsumu said closing the door behind him as he walked in. "Where are we Tsumu?" I pull the blankets closer to me as I feel a little chill.

      He sits at the foot of the bed placing a hand on my leg. "We're at a cabin, trust me you're not gonna regret trusting me waking you," Atsumu said and I could help but crawl to him and wrap my arms around him. He hugs back but I'm pretty sure he thinks this position is weird. I push him to the bed putting me on top of him. He was blushing heavily at my actions, I was just smiling like an idiot. "You idiot! I'll never regret going anywhere with you, as long as you're here I couldn't care what happens." I say and he grabs me by my hips picking me up with a slight smirk on his face.

         He places me sitting down on the bed again and stood up. "Come with me babe" Atsumu held his hand out as he spoke. I grab his hand and he takes me outside the room, I look around to see this cabin is a decent size. The living area was pretty big, it had a high ceiling and comfy-looking couches. I keep looking around in awe, enjoying everything I'm looking at.

         We both stop at a place that seems like the kitchen, it looks like something from a movie. Wait, how much was all of this? I look up towards Atsumu and he looks down at me with that smile still on his face. "Tsumu... how much was this??" I say and all Atsumu does is chuckle and pull out his phone, he seemed to be texting someone. After a few seconds of just standing there, I see ahead peek from behind the fridge. Is that...

"Suga!?"

         I say and he comes into full view with a smile on his face. "But I thought you-..." My sentence was interrupted when I saw Oikawa running towards me. Next thing I know I was pulled into a big hug. "Hinata! I missed you!" He said while hugging me, I smile and pat his back as I hug him back. We both pull away from the hug with smiles on our faces. "I'm not doing anything dramatic Kuroo, he sees me all the time." I hear Kenma's voice and I turn around to see him and Kuroo just standing there. They wave at me and I wave back. "I told you we were gonna be late if you did that!" I heard Sakusa shout at someone. "You're so mean to me! I was hungry! we weren't even late!" Bokuto argued back and I laughed.

         The longer we stood there the more people that kept showing up. Nishinoya, Azumane, Daichi, I get chills when I see Iwaizumi. He still scares me. I could stop smiling, how did Atsumu get everyone here? I look up at him "Are you some kind of miracle maker?" I say and Atsumu turns towards me with I slight smirk. He leans down to me and places a soft quick kiss on my lips. " I can be... if it makes you happy." After he said that I couldn't help but blush heavily.

         I was staring at Atsumu getting lost in those basic but beautiful brown eyes as he stared back. Our staring contest was interrupted by a sudden shout. "Hinata!! You're finally dating Atsumu!?" Oikawa shouted and I turned towards him nodding my head softly. He claps and nods his head back, he looks like I proud mother that just watches her son accomplish something. Everyone's heads look towards the door after hearing someone knock on it. Atsumu told me to stay out as he got the door.

           As I stood there chatting with everyone Atsumu finally came back. He brought someone with him. I look behind him to see someone I didn't expect.

"Osamu?"

I say and everyone turns towards Atsumu and Osamu. They both just stand there realizing the fact that they are getting stared at. "Uhm... hi," Osamu said and Oikawa immediately stands in front of me. This caused Atsumu to raise an eyebrow at Oikawa. "Everything okay Oikawa?" Atsumu said with one eyebrow raised in confusion. Oikawa was about to say something but I slightly push him out the way and run to Osamu. "Hey, Osamu! It's great to see you." I say smiling big, and he smiles back at me. "Hey Hinata, it's great to see you again." I could see Atsumu looking at us in the corner of his eye.

         I walk back to Oikawa who was confused at my actions. Everyone in the group stayed in awkward silence. Bokuto finally breaking the silence saying he was hungry, everyone agreed. Oikawa pulled my arm and snuck me out to the bedroom Atsumu had me in.

        He closes the door behind us and sits on the bed. "Hinata... you gonna explain to me what happened back there?" Oikawa says and I sit right next to him on the bed. "Please... Tsumu doesn't need to know about that... they just made up. Do you know what could happen if Tsumu finds out what Osamu did" I state it more than I ask, he shakes his head at me. "They may be on good terms but you shouldn't act like that kiss didn't happen.."  Oikawa says and I sigh softly knowing that he's right. "I know, but I don't wanna mess up something I just fixed," I say and Oikawa places his hand on my shoulder sparing me a sympathetic look. "I won't say anything... but you're gonna have to tell him what Osamu did eventually." I look away after he finished his sentence, I simply just nod. With that we heard the door burst open, our heads turn to the door instantly.

"Shoyo!!!!! Come on!!!!! We got games to play!"

Nishinoya shouts as he bursts the door. He saw both of us sitting there and he looked at us in confusion. Oikawa and I look at each other and start laughing. "We'll be right there! Thanks, Noya." I say and he gives me a thumbs up leaving the room. We both stood up and walked out of the room to the living room where they were playing board games.
Atsumu saved me a seat next to him, I could feel eyes on me from behind. But I choose to ignore it.

       After many games, we realized it was around midnight. Having all of my friends here makes me so happy, I couldn't contain my smile the whole time we were playing games. Turns out everyone had brought sleeping bags, they were prepared to sleep here. Atsumu suggested we sleep in the room I woke up in earlier, but I refused. I wanted to sleep with my friends and so he got me and him a blanket and we decided on sleeping out there.

         Atsumu was wrapped around me under the blanket, the floor was too uncomfortable so Sakusa was nice enough to give us the couch. I lay my head on Atsumu's chest as he played with my hair. "Goodnight everyone!" Atsumu said and everyone said goodnight in unison. I close my eyes listening to Atsumu's calming heartbeat, as I slowly drift to sleep I could positively say. I felt so...
