Heartache - Healing part 2

I could feel myself shaking which causes me to shoot awake. I seem to have startled the person waking me up. "Damn babe, you really wanted to sleep." I hear my husband's voice ring through my ears which immediately wakes me up.

I open my eyes to meet his beautiful brown ones. He was smiling at me, I still love it more than anything else. "Yeah! You were sleeping hard, was it the game that got you so tired!?" I smile when I hear my kind-hearted daughter pear from the backseat. "When did you take your seatbelt off!?" Atsumu says in fear causing her to giggle.

I chuckle at his panicked face and picked her up from the back seat. I placed her on my lap and she gave me a big smile. "She's fine Tsumu, she probably just took it off when you parked," I say and he shakes his head with a smile still across his face. "I know but still, it's better if I take it off." He says and I roll my eyes while she giggles.

Since it was our last game of the season we decided to take some time to ourselves. Her babysitter also has to deal with her a lot so we know he needs a break. We told some friends about it, if they wanted to come they could. Our daughter rose is adopted, of course, I always knew Atsumu wanted a daughter. If we're being honest Atsumu spoils the poor child, but she has a face you could never say no to.

So the place Me and Atsumu chose to relax was the same place we loved a few years ago. We walk into the building and take a look around at the changes. "Looks just like I remember it," Atsumu says and I smile at the sight. "You know, I feel like the people that rented it out, did that on purpose." I go towards the table and run my fingers through it. "I wonder if everyone's coming like last time..." I say to myself.

Rose sits at the table with a smile. "So you and dad hung out at a place like this?" She said and I shook my head with a smile. "Your father brought me here for a surprise with our friends. It truly feels like yesterday we were still here." I say this time feeling out the window frame. This all feels so surreal.

I feel two arms wrap around my waist and I start to laugh. "What's so funny? Laughing because no people are hiding this time?" Atsumu said laughing lightly and I blush softly. "How about we not! Let's go play outside!" Rose said raising her voice trying to get our attention. Atsumu and I laugh but we do end up playing her game and heading outside.

Rose wanted to go for a walk so we all agreed one wouldn't hurt. Atsumu let her sit on his shoulders as we walked however causing me to laugh at the sight. As we were walking she would point at Various things she saw in the wilderness. Unlike the last time we were here there were many cool-looking animals which made her happy. Seeing her smile is enough to warm even the coldest of hearts.

We start heading back cause Atsumu could feel his shoulders starting to give out after all of the walking. As we approach the cabin we see a few cars parked out front with many people sitting outside. I smile at the sight cause they still came even with their busy schedules.

We approached everyone as Atsumu got Rose off his shoulders. She was disappointed that her fun trip was over but Atsumu was relieved to have his shoulders back. "Hey everyone!" I say and they all turn to us and say hey back in unison.

Let's see Oikawa and Iwazumi had finally gotten together after our last trip here. I swear something is going on between Daichi and Suga. Kenma and Kuroo are here, of course, they've been together for a while. Noya was here with Azumane, as far as I know, they're still single. Osamu was there by himself, I wonder how he's doing.

We invited them all inside and they all flooded inside. I sat down casually on one of the couches. Oikawa takes a comfortable seat right next to me. "Hey, there short stuff, what brings you here." He winked at me nudging me softly. I laugh but decided to play along. "I certain brunette I heard could cure my loneliness," I say and we both start uncontrollably laughing.

After our laughter died down we saw Iwaizumi and Atsumu giving us concerning looks while holding their child. "Look away, children! Strange men." Atsumu said covering his daughter's eyes as she laughed. "Mean!" I say and cross my arms playfully pouting. Rose hopped out of Atsumu's arms running into mine. "See I knew you liked me more," I say and she giggles Atsumu rolled his eyes with a slight smile. She immediately ran back to him.

Kuroo looked and Kenma and back at the children. "No Kuroo." Kenma said and Kuroo whined. "Come on, we can't even get a cat. At least let's get a cat together!" Kuroo said loudly and Kenma rolled his eyes and paused his game. "Fine! But I get to do my subathon!" Kenma said loudly back as they shake hands in agreement. I laugh at the sight softly.

I noticed Osamu was sitting in by himself. I went over to him and sat down giving him a welcoming smile. "Hey, you okay?" I ask and he smiles. "I'm fine, just feeling out of place that's all." He said as his phone notified him of a notification. He sighed and excused himself from the room, he looked so sad.

Rose came running up to me excitedly. "Dad! Atsudad said you would let me play with the volleyball outside today." I chuckle at her nickname for Atsumu and I pick her up. "Yes I know, let's go get a ball and go play around alright?" I ask and she nods happily.

After grabbing a ball we head outside and I teach her the basics. "Like this!?" She said tossing the ball in the air putting her arms together and swinging with all her might. I chuckle at the sight and teach her again, this time her grasping the basics of how her hands are supposed to be.

After passing to each other, she seemed to be having the time of her life. "I'm guessing you enjoy this huh rose?" I ask and she nods happily. Oikawa had come outside and asked if rose wanted to play with their daughter, she looked at me and I gave her a reassuring smile. She jumped happily thanking me and let Oikawa take her inside.

I softly sit down on the grass looking up at the lovely blue sky. I felt someone sit next to me. I assume it's Atsumu by the body shape. " Hinata...?" It in fact was not Atsumu, it was Osamu. "Yeah?" I turn towards him, he looked nervous. "How have you been lately? Having a daughter getting married... feels like we haven't hung out in a while..". He says and I chuckle softly.

He looked at me fiddling with his fingers. "Hinata!" he looked at me and his expression still pretty anxious. "I've been great! Having Atsumu and rose to care for I couldn't ask for anything more. Though hanging out with you, is definitely something I could manage." I ask and fiddled with his fingers again. "Look I'm not trying to mess up what you got going on, promise! I just want to hang, maybe chat a little..." he says and I nod laughing a little again.

Our conversation was interrupted by Atsumu shouting my name as he ran to us. "Shoyo babe you okay!?" He asked kneeling next to me. "I'm fine Tsumu, I'm just talking with Osamu." He looked at his brother then looked at me. "I was worried when I saw rose coming in with Oikawa and you were still out here... I'll leave you two be," Atsumu says and places a kiss on my cheek before leaving us alone.
