Chapter 28. Kageyama?

"Kageyama!?"

I yell as I realize who the figure was entering through the gym doors. He looked towards me and looked at everyone else, his face seemed to get angry when seeing Atsumu. He slowly walked up to me, I watched him as he slowly walked. What was he doing here? I thought he couldn't come? "I thought you'd be happier to see me," Kageyama said and I couldn't help but laugh a little.

         I stood up and pointed at him. "I am happy! That means I can show you how much better I have gotten... Probably better than you!" I stick my tongue out as I spoke and he gives me a smirk. "Alright show me then." He said and I just gave him a smirk in response and ran towards the cart full of volleyballs. I could hear him curse behind me and start trying to beat me to the cart. I swiftly hop over the cart grabbing a ball in the process, I land on my feet perfectly. I turn towards him with a big smirk, he looked mad. "Come on! Lemme set to you!" I say and throw the ball at Kageyama, him catching it with ease.

        I set to him. Kageyama spiking the balls and complaining as soon as he could. "Too low!" And "too high!" I kept laughing at him cause sometimes I knew he was saying that just to get me mad. After many spikes Atsumu and Noya thought it would be a good idea to try to receive the spikes, Kageyama didn't seem to like that. He kept trying to make it harder for Atsumu to receive but instead kept failing, it was extremely funny. Atsumu had that evil smirk the entire time, Kageyama didn't like that one bit.

      We eventually did stop and I couldn't help but run and hug Atsumu. I was all sweaty and he'd probably get mad, but I still did it anyway. "Shoyo? What's with the sudden hug?" Atsumu says and I blush hiding my face in his shirt. I could feel him hugging back, he is always so comfortable. "I have no idea, I just had the urge," I say and pull away from the hug. I hear multiple people say 'awww' at the same time causing me to blush. I forgot everyone was here, talk about embarrassing.

              Anyways I walk towards Suga and Daichi because I would love to talk to them. "Suga! Daichi!" I yell while running earning both of their attention. "Hey, Hinata!" They both say at the same time, as I stop right in front of them. "So... what did you two talk with Atsumu about?" I ask them and Daichi seemed to tense up. Suga kicked Daichi on his leg and smiled at me. "Honestly just telling us how much he likes you! He also complemented Daichi's receiving skills!" As Suga spoke he couldn't stand still, was he anxious about talking about Atsumu to me?

         I was gonna comment on it but I heard Kageyama start yelling and turn around to see him yelling at Atsumu. I listen to the conversation carefully trying to figure out a good time to jump in. "I think someone is mad cause Shoyo likes me more than them," Atsumu says with a little shake in his ass mocking Kageyama. Kageyama growled and swung at Atsumu with his hand balled into a fist. Atsumu ducked under the punch and hopped back with a smirk on his face.

       I take this opportunity to get closer and try to stop the argument. "Both of you need to stop right now, this isn't the place or time!" I yell causing them both to look at me. "Kageyama you need to realize that I don't like you back that way... I'm.. in a relationship." I say taking a slight glance at Atsumu who was smiling after hearing my words. Kageyama on the other hand looked furious and was about to attempt to punch Atsumu, but was stopped by Tsukishima placing his hand on Kageyama's shoulder.

         He looks back at Tsukishima with a glare,  but all Tsukishima did was shake his at the Kageyama. "Fighting isn't gonna get you Hinata. It's just gonna make him hate you dipshit!" Tsukishima criticized Kageyama and Kageyama took a deep breath calming himself. "I hate the fact that you're right... I still wanna punch him for bragging about it." Kageyama said with his fist still prepared to punch Atsumu.

        I walk over to my boyfriend and grab his hand. "Tsumu... you shouldn't have said that, you knew it would've pissed him off." I look up towards him with a disappointed look and he sighs. "Yeah... I know.." Atsumu turned towards Kageyama and slightly bowed with his eyes closed. "Sorry, tobio... I knew how you felt but I still said it anyways.. we're grown, we should just move past this." Atsumu said and my eyes widen. I look towards Kageyama, his once angry eyes were about as surprised as mine.

         Kageyama nodded his head in response and slightly bowed as well. "I'm sorry for swinging at you too... I guess..." the last words coming out as a whisper, I don't think Atsumu heard that tho. I laugh and pat both of their heads by jumping. "Wow look at you two! It's almost like you're grown!" I say jokingly and I could tell they both were blushing.

       I notice Tsukishima pulling Kageyama's arm, basically dragging him away. I raise a brow at them, Kageyama just shrugs his shoulders and follows Tsukishima. I shrug it off as well and turn towards Atsumu who was staring at the back of my head. I blushed heavily and I noticed he blushed too. Daichi and Suga came over to us while clapping and laughing. "That was interesting to watch," Daichi said and Suga just couldn't stop laughing. "That was hilarious! The fact that Kageyama actually apologized, this was soooo worth it." Suga said then continued his laughing fit.

      After hanging out for around an hour we finally put the gym equipment away. The first few to go were Noya and Tanaka, they had some 'things to do. Azumane, Suga, and Daichi left next, I gave them all hugs cause I don't know the next time I'll see them. After waving them off me and Atsumu turn towards Kageyama and Tsukishima who were talking about something. "Kageyama! Tsukki! We're heading out! Bye!" I yell while waving both of my hands. They both turned towards me and waved with a smile on both of their faces.

      I smile and grab Atsumu's hand pulling him towards his car. "Shoyo! Wait!" Atsumu said stoping in my tracks turning towards him. "I wanna take you somewhere, the days not over!" This time he grabs my hand and drags me to the car, I'm dumbfounded. "Alright, don't do anything weird," I say not even earning anything in response.

After getting in the car I put my seatbelt on and look out the window. I hear the car turn on and turn to Atsumu who was staring at me again. "Tsumu you okay? I've caught you staring two times now." He blushed at my words and smiled. "I still can't believe I got someone as perfect as you Shoyo... I can't help but stare." Atsumu says and places his hand on my cheek. He leans in for a kiss but stops, getting me kinda mad. "May I?" He said playing with my bottom lip, and I nod. He places a quick kiss on my lips and turns back to get ready and drive.

I wonder what's going through his head.
